    After watching this my daughter's, tears streaming down their faces said "Well thanks a lot dad!"
    I then suggested "Watership Down" to lighten the mood.

    Love studio ghibli, I remember buying spirited away on release (along with battle royal) and since then I never looked back, first one I watched was on channel 4 called grave of the fireflys, still amazing today.

    Quite possibly the saddest movie I have ever seen. Watched it when I was younger and have never been able to watch it again. Great movie though!

    Thanks op! Studio Ghibli films really are incredible. The museum in Tokyo is worth a trip if you can.

    same here.. came across grave of the fireflies whilst doing a night shift.. quitr possibly on channel 4 and since then they are my favourite movies :)..

    I stopped part way in. Just couldn't finish watching it..someone was cutting onions so couldn't focus.

    You should finish the triple bill off with The Plague Dogs. Your daughter's will thank you for it in later life..
