I got it for £15.04 yesterday as it came out!

The price is reflecting the cost of the PS4/XBOX/PC price. £15 is about right at the moment for the disc. I’ve had this on PS4 for 2 years and it truly is a masterpiece.

And now finally, I can play it on the toilet

Is this a misprice? I want this but don't have the time to play atm, should I get it now or is this the price for the digital copy?

They already have that covered with rock and racing DX, I bought it for the wii u so I refuse to pay again for it on switch.

Can't really compare the two as they are totally different. One is racing and one is crazy FIFA on wheels.

Almost certainly Rocket League is a far superior game. Although I haven't even played Rock'n Racing so I wouldn't normally reply but check out the reviews on Metacritic for the Xbone version

There is one Switch review mixed in there too and all the reviews seem very genuine (which is unusual for Metacritic )

I was just about to buy it myself but I'll definitley pass now

@i_have_crabs yeah I have to concur there, having not played that R&R version, that info looks like enough for me to stay clear of the Switch game. e-Games seem risky sometimes, at least if you get a duff game on cart you can get shot of it easily. Rocket League it will be then. Will be nice to play something original, never played racing football before. Still room for a good R&R style game in the Switch games market I guess.

can this be played 2 player on the go, with a joycon each?

I read in the reviews that you can play 2 player on the go with two joy cons . Only issue is u can change camera yourself but if using ball cam not and issue.

That's a fair opinion which I don't disagree with but without sounding tight, the 1 pound saving for me can go towards another eshop game and as long as I am supporting the developers then I do not see it being an issue. I use revolut which requires me to top up £10 minimum each time if I don't have enough to purchase the game so that's why I like the saving. (edited)

Yea it’s a fair point. I’ve just read that, the sales in a specific country can affect the marketing and future releases of games within that country. So it could have negatives affects with this method.
I guess it’s savings, and you can’t be concerned too much about others if it means not being savvy with your money, but it is just something to consider.

I couldn't see any posts about RL on the switch when I looked this morning on the way to work, so figured might as well post.

Spotted my price mistake but couldn't fix it due to the post being locked due to moderation.

I was surprised the price was quiet reasonable, as normally most switch game digital dl prices are a tad steep. (edited)

If you were interested in a Rock n Road Of Road DX type game (which turned out to be pretty bad based on reviews) I definitely recommend checking out Mantis Burn Racing that was just added to the E-shop. It's really great! Perfect game for handheld mode & TV. Well worth 15 quid imo

This is a game best served digitally.

It's Rocket League. That's not a game that's ever coming off your Switch so you might as well just have it saved there and keep your card slot for something else. For the same reason I paid a bit extra for a download of Mario Kart.

I want to get that the DX version, I got Crush it delivered yesterday and it was a disappointment, ill still have fun with it but could and should be so much more. (edited)
