I have used this plugin and its brilliant but quite expensive but they have now released a FREE version which does all the stuff I usually do with the plugin anyway.

I found some info about the free version on this site below

photofocus.com/201…on/

Some have said its a trail version etc and not free I have spoken to Athentech and this is what they said

"The reason for this issue is that the software is the same for the trial, free mode and the complete version.
At first, it is a trial version. Our trial is 21-day long.
Then, once the trial is expired, you can either purchase Perfectly Clear Complete or use a free forever mode.
Free mode will have restrictions as to what presets and adjustments you can use."

In Lightroom it is under "Photo" and "Edit in" and yes, almost all options are locked. This is free just to download and not to use..

Yeah I was really surprised to find they now did a free version its always been a paid plugin and its very good. Obviously you will not have some of the functions of the paid version but it looks like what you get is the main functions that are very good (edited)

Downloaded and installed app manager which tried to Install complete version. Cancelled that and tried the Essential version. Said Deactivated or expired... underneath a BUY button. Poo. Uninstalled.

Not sure about that but I have used it many times and always been impressed with the results especially if you tinker with the settings a bit

That'd be a little hard considering this :
The free version of the software lets you batch process up to 5 photos at once in Lightroom (the full version is unlimited). You also can’t make your own presets or import them, but Athentech offers several for sale (and even free) sets for download in their store that let you extend the functionality.

It's perfectly unclear that it's a demo installed by a manager app. It requires activation with a code and email and you get neither. On the website i clicked the 'free for life' download with the same result, a locked demo requiring a purchase.
This deal should be expired it's a misleading trial.

I downloaded this and it messed up my Lightroom install. Saying some folders didn’t have the right permissions anymore. After I got it working I didn’t see much point in using it over the vanilla Lightroom?

Weird that - I have installed it and used it with no problems at all but you can never guess with computers. The plugin wont be for everyone and you can do all it does yourself its just an easier one click option to hopefully save time and it works well for that
