I have mine in a clear case and then use a usb c extension to connect it to the dock. I'd rather do this then keep taking it out of the case.

I was also paranoid about the dock scratching the switch (front and back) so this way I don't have to worry.

it was,, it was my deal. Price did go up so I had to expire it. Seems its gone back down but not as cheap as my old offer

Got it for 7.5£ close to black friday.
Its a nice case but I only use it on my backpack. Its not solid and when you press on it you can hear the analogs clicking lol

It's a usb c extension cable. It plugs into the connector inside the dock, where the switch would connect when docked. It's a bit fiddly but works fine once connected.

I used cable clips to keep it in place.

Game has a large premium case for a tenner until the end of the week. Available online too. I bought it and it's quite sturdy - also has space for games and accessories (except the pro controller). I posted a deal here several days back

Thanks I’ve got that massive gioteck case at the moment which is great for taking it on long trips but have been looking for a smaller case for more general day use to just throw in my work bag

Thanks OP. Had a £5 voucher so got it for £3.99. Can’t go wrong with it as long as it offers some protection to put it in a backpack

There is only one case that will dock on the switch thats the Nyko Slim but even that one is causing problems with docking.
Believe me Ive looked everywhere.In the meantime if you want a great case for handheld mode I am using this and its great,they do one a bit slimmer as well but this is best for protection.Now looking for a case that this will fit into LOL

Good deal but if you can wait for shipping ordering cases from china is often cheaper.

No, you will have to take it out of the case to put it in the dock. That's why I suggested the extension cable in my comment.
