Thought this looked great for the price, was £10 & now £1.99. My girls were always pinching the remotes & chewing on them / playing with them, I did buy them a baby version, but it was not as realistic as this & they still went after the others!

Babies love to watch and copy others, learning as they grow. With this realistic remote control baby can be just like you whilst developing their fine motor skills and imagination.

I own this, but baby knows it’s a decoy. Great price though.

Good price, but don't be fooled by this, the toddlers won't be! They might be small but they'll suss out it isn't the real thing in an instant. The very fact that you're letting them touch it will give the game away.

Was £10? Would anyone actually pay that? Good sale price but why not do what we did - just give them an old remote that isn't used anymore. I'm sure most people will have one or two clogging up a drawer somewhere. Heat added for the deal though.

There's no sense to this surely. Whatever their age, babies/children need to be taught some things are not toys, they have brains. Same as they are taught at an older age, not to play with matches, you don't give them 'play' boxes of matches!

£10 for a toy, when you can buy a REAL one for less??

And as above, it takes 1-5 days for the average toddler to figure out it isnt the real thing, only under 1's would be fooled for longer.

My 1 1/2 y/o daughter figured out to how to use the house phones, so when we changed to a new set, I left the old ones plugged in, but not connected to the phone line. It took her less than a day to figure it out, and she never touched the old phones again.
Then a few months later, she discovered the joys of international dialling!!!!

Lol. When my lad started walking at a year he became fascinated by the fridge and the light going on and off. In an attempt to stop him constantly opening it we fitted a fridge lock. Within a day he had it sussed so we fitted a padlock to it and hung the key nearby. He watched us get the key and by osmosis learned how to do it. We then put the key on a high shelf he couldn't see. Low and behold when we watched him drag a chair over to stand on to reach the key we gave up. Within a week he became bored of the fridge and moved on.
Moral of the story is that you can't fool toddlers!

My 2 year old grandson prefers to put the TV remote in the house phone holder and play with phone.

And it'll be someone else's fault when they choke on the small parts which come off? It isn't a toy!
