Also you can have multiple new android/google accounts with new/different cards and they count as separate new customers. You can easily get £50 out of this offer if you switch and use all your cards.

I think it is for people who do not use gpay. I've been using android/google pay for long.No credit received ever.

I've got a Barclays account and I cannot use my debt card with it. So I'm assuming no Barclay cards will either

You're most likely correct. I only recently got the GOPAY offer. I also frequently was using Android Pay (as it was at the time), but I stopped after Christmas (got a case, and it covered the NFC).

After not using it for a month or so, I got an email and notification inviting me to join.

That all said, I'm tired of seeing this as a "deal" given that it's invite only.

Turns out this is new users. I've updated the deal

Will this auto credit for new users? I have just downloaded the app, if I make 5 purchases will I get the google play card?

Just bear in mind that you need to make 5 purchases, and only one per day counts.

This sucks. All they ever gave me was constant advertising for that stupid Marvel movie with Batman and Wonder Woman and whatever. They get extra money, I get extra advertising?

I was eligible for one of these offers earlier this year (when it was Android Pay) and they never paid out the credit despite me following the rules. There doesn't seem to be a way of chasing it up either.
