    One is game of the year, has loads of dlc cars. Other one doesn't.

    Are they essentially skins? As I have eshop credit and though of picking rocket league up on sale - would I get away with buying 1-2 of the dlc packs of the eshop or is this better going for?

    Skins/car redesign and decals yes, as I said it's a purely personal thing if you feel it's worth it. Given the sale starting tomorrow at 2pm and physical has been £20 I'd wait until at least tomorrow minimum before you decide, then at least you'll have the digital price to properly compare. (edited)

    The DLC is mostly cars and some effect packs, if you like that sort of thing it's worth it but that's about it, nothing else is locked away.

    Great game, should be getting that visual update patch soon-ish
