assuming they don't just make a whole new set of amiibo for ssb - switch with slightly different poses/costumes, because nintendo wouldnt try and sell us the same thing multiple times! lol

The best way is to watch this YouTube video. you can buy the blank NFC cards from eBay. I got a pack of 15 for £8 from a UK seller. The app is very easy to use too. Hope this helps.. or message me.

Thanks for the info @winter_zombie I’m up against it it would seem though, I’m an iOS and OSX user, so the options seem fairly limited for me. I’ll just walk round Asda with my Switch and keep my fingers crossed

All the amiibo packs have a thin metal under the flat part of the figures so you cart scan them 😝

Argos have been having stock issues for me so this would be quicker I managed to grab the villager one when it was at its cheapest but had to wait

True, plus they'll probably release a 'new costume' amiibo for every character too.

If you just want the NFC data for the amiibo then it's much cheaper to buy blank NFC cards from eBay and then write the data via Bluetooth from your smart phone. It's very easy and much cheaper then collecting them all.
