Sorry to rain on your parade, but it’s only the iPhone X whose camera array is oriented vertically.

the only difference is Android was slow and laggy from the time you get it out of the box

Yeah the Apple jokes are harder now. Notch is being followed by loads of Android manufacturers. Samsung S9 vs S8 is similar to how Apple operate their upgrades.

Only difference being if you’re on an old Apple device you don’t get forgotten about and still receive OS updates. Maybe soon Android will copy this too?

That’s fair but this is HotUKDeals, as in - is this a deal based on whether you can find it cheaper elsewhere or not. Vote hot or cold based on that metric. Not whether you don’t think the 8 is worth the upgrade from the 7

iPhone is the best thing to happen to mobile technology in the past 11 years at least. (edited)

Great deal. What does an iPhone 8 do though?

Same thing with Samsung S9 vs S8. Animemoji was the next joke people tried to jump on until Samsung copied and did the face emoji imitation. All phone manufacturers look to Apple to see what they need to do next - hauwei P20, one plus 6 etc. Have both android and IOS so I’m not biased but android v iOS debate is getting old

No one was saying it was that different. What if you don't already have an iPhone 7 though? I mean why upgrade every year anyway?

There isn't much difference between the S8 and S9 other than the camera and CPU upgrade - which is pretty much comparable to Apple update cycles. Not knocking Samsung either as I think it's the correct thing to do - do you really want your phone to be completely superceded by the next upgrade every year? (edited)

Received mine today, in original box, unmarked looks brand new. Unused charger and plug, no headphones which I presume to be normal for hygiene reasons. Bargain!

Bit late with this one. And so many phone manufacturers have followed suit and done the same. And added the notch. But good on ya for trying (edited)

Apple always win during the first circuit of app start-up as the OS and hardware are perfectly optimized to work together.

Apple gets destroyed reloading apps though as they are limited by tiny RAM (2GB on £700 iPhone 8/3GB ON £1000 iPhone X come on Apple, RAM is cheap).

The other way Apple keeps it's phone like new are updates that delete everything (edited)

I managed to bag one and for reference the price includes VAT and an invoice is provided. £464 plus VAT is a bargain as long as the condition is as advertised. I have bought refurb iPads in the past and they were mint so fingers crossed. Thanks OP (edited)

It’s not a debate it’s just Android peeps whining about IPhones however iPhone users never even bother to make comment about androids and all its variants. Funny that
