sorted byThis is what I love about gaming... like art, so much is subject to taste...
I loved it but I really hated Firewatch... and I know I'm in the minority on that one
Heat from me
If you like the type of game, I'd say definitely. It's a great story and excellently produced. (edited)
ps. Bubaman - h-a-t-e firewatch...!!!!! NNNOOOOOO!!! ?? :):)
Yeah, I know... and Gone Home... I'm just not into shaggy dog stories
I love this, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture, The Stanley Parable and many others though (edited)
Don't forget the adrenaline-fuelled radio tuning
Worth a buy then ? I have It on Xbox but never played it. But I love playing these kinds of games on switch.
Interesting, I hated gone home also. Rapture i loved but Stanley I thought a bit contrived - although I loved the premise. Rapture should get far more love than it does imho.
Thanks for reinforcing my original point
I agree. A slog to get thru
You still interact with the other characters since you have to talk to them, choosing which sentence to say. I'd classify this as gameplay.
Bought this on Russian eshop and just didn't like it - too slow paced for me. But, for this price, it's worth a try!
Strange.. I haven't experienced stuttering, must start it up again when I get home. Are you running it off the system or a memory card?
Great. I actually liked Firewatch a lot. To be fair, I could not be bothered to finish this game. Maybe things get interesting towards the end, but I found it sooo boring...
I found Firewatch utterly tedious to begin with but I stuck with it... it started to build into something intriguing but the ending was just the worst - it felt like I'd been playing a shaggy dog story and I was bitter for persevering
I'm not saying either of us is wrong... it just highlights that taste plays a large part in the enjoyment of games and that no review can ever be fully trusted.
