Can anyone tell me a bit more about this advice like how it works and …Can anyone tell me a bit more about this advice like how it works and connects up?

It has a USB cigarette lighter socket for power, the main unit is what's in the photo and controls the dab/Bluetooth selection.
It has another connector which is the stick on antenna, it sticks to the windscreen to receive dab signal.
It auto turns on when you start your ignition.
It can send the audio to your car stereo either by an Aux in cable or by fm transmission.
I bought one for my wife's car. Easy to setup. Making the cables tidy was the only tricky bit.
We are using the fm transmission method and the audio is very clear.
The only negative is that it uses the mobile phone's microphone during calls so the call quality to the person receiving isn't amazing.
But for £25 it's a bargain and I'd buy one again if I needed one.

Just want to say thanks to OP......

Picked one of these up today, really easy to install. Just unclipped the side panel next to the window. Lucky I could tuck the wire all the way down and around right to the centre console under my arm rest. Not a wire insight...

I have placed the unit inside the arm rest were also lives a USB socket & an AUX

    Job done

Really happy with the DAB sound quality, beats listening to TalkSport on AM any day of the week 👏👏

Mine are painted too, not an issue for me.. the aerial in the kit work just fine. (edited)

I think it's national as I saw them in Coventry.

Hundreds of these on eBay from 6 quid up over. I've had the same one for about 3 years and it was under a tenner. 25 quid is overpriced for these (edited)

I'm now back at the point where for a DAB Bluetooth transmitter £24.99 is a good price, the are slightly cheaper ones on eBay (£21), nothing else that's been suggested is compatible.

Which is fine but will use your data and be useless if you've a poor mobile signal.
This is best of both worlds, full Dab setup and Bluetooth for Audio and calls.

It comes with a digital antenna, you don't need another additional antenna.

I know but the magnetic aerials that slot under the roof lining are far easier to fit with no risks of damaging your pillar or worse still not being able to get it back on which I have read online happens quite regularly

Bought this yesterday from the Aldi in Sale. Fitted it myself which took 5 mins in my car and it's worth every penny imo.

Delighted with it, took off the A pillar panel at the passenger side & fitted on my Rav4. Picked up 34 dab channels & paves a way to connect to car radio via Bluetooth from phone. Perfect! Note once the aeriel lead is connected to the main unit, no way to disconnect as far as I'm aware. Bonus too it comes with sticky pads to keep cables nice & tidy.

Radio 5live very strong signal, not so strong for Magic for example but brilliant unit nonetheless. Definitely recommend! I tuned to frequently 87.5 to pair with car radio, with no background hiss, very clear Bluetooth or dab playback. Aerial pic below, hope this helps someone

The aerial has a push in connector which can be removed just a bit difficult to get hold of due to its size. Thanks for the photo / review.

try tuning when you are in a stronger reception area to get a longer list of stations and store them as a preset - it seems then to remember/tune to them when you're back in a weaker signal area.
Spent a couple of hours driving through hilly countryside the other day - not one crackle or drop in service awesome kit (edited)

That looks to me like an FM transmitter and a DAB antenna, so how does it work? Surely for DAB you'd need something with a display on it to select the channels?
