yes you can still buy players from any league even if they aren't an active league and they still buy and sell players just like you (you just don't see the results of every game in those non-active leagues which would takes lots of extra processing power to calculate). Honestly it's not as big a deal as people are making out, I think you can buy with confidence.
You can still buy a selection of players from the leagues, but don't have access to everyone, it's just a more refined selection.
Despite what people are saying here, it has a big impact on the overall game.
If the other leagues aren't active, it starts to mess with how the entire 'world' behaves as players only really move between active leagues, and those active leagues become skewed. It also affects regens, manager movements, how strong the leagues are, European Competitions, International competitions...etc.
For me, it ruins the game, its just not as realistic as it should be with just a few leagues running. But then, if you just want a casual play, and have never experienced what it should be like...then you probably won't even notice.
I bought this about 2 weeks ago to play whilst on holiday and I’ve never played it, now they reduce it!! Gahhh I need to stop biting so soon

When it comes to the eshop you have more chance of getting blood out of a stone than money back
Yeah there is a update coming out for next season it's called "Football Manager Touch 2019 Give Us More Monies Gold Edition"
No it didn’t - it had the same leagues as the PC/tablet version.
I’ve put about 30 hours in since launch, a really good version
think it's mainly from those used to the PC version - adding an active league loads all the players from that league, which is the only way to get certain players
Yeah I don’t expect it to run same but I still wanna buy a random no name from Swedish second division and make him the next Zlatan...

I've been playing football manager, and before that championship manager since the '93 game with gazza at rangers and cantona wanting to move abroad. Never managed more than 6 seasons. If you do you're playing it wrong
This is the same version for tablets and touchscreen PCs. It's a purposely slimmed down version of the main game to deal with feedback that it was getting bloated.
It's showing as 2.6gb on mine mate
There's no precedent for this so it's unlikely. Other previous versions never seemed to received transfer updates for the next season.
You can only run 3 though. Which sucks. On PC, you can run as many as you like.
Ah ok..... I knew I’d seen something in a review about 3 leagues.... how does that impact the game? Can you still buy players from any league?
In your game world only three leagues exist and generate results??
