Still no sign of online mode or even doubles for that matter.

I advise anyone to hold of on buying this. By the time the developers have it sorted it will probably be £10-£15 anyway.

Heat for the price, but one of the worst games ever seen on any current console. Poor performance and game has been released despite being only 20% ready 4 weeks before launch.
Needs a huge fix - which is due later this year - before it’s worth looking at buying this

Did they just rush this out to release because of Wimbledon? It looks terrible

Don't buy this game, the devs and publisher released an unfinished turd.

I had both and kept AO Tennis and got a full refund on Tennis World Tour.

TWT has the potential to be good but the developers are a joke and represent everything wrong with the gaming industry so I had to get a refund on it just out of pure principal.

AO Tennis gets patched every week and while some patches bring new problems it has improved so much since its launch in January in New Zealand and the Australia area. I got it at launch by purchasing through the Australian Xbox store and have seen it improve each couple of weeks.

The community creations are what helps this game over TWT as there are some amazing players and courts people have uploaded that look spot on. Gameplay is ok. Love the challenge system. Worth a purchase if it’s in the £20-£25 price bracket.

Sadly both games are lacking and what with different companies holding different licenses for the slams, players and tours we probably won’t get a solid complete tennis game any time soon.

Rushed it out for the French Open. Developer even confirmed the same. There's an interview somewhere they explicitly state that they released it to get the money from sales to then finish developing it.

Stay well clear, devs cancelled the digital version a few days before the retail version was out, meaning retailers got stuck with stock of a game that is a complete mess

They've even bragged about the game being profitable because they sold enough copies to retailers who some have no rights to send them back

Heck I'd even give EA my £60 if they just released a AAA tennis game. Heck I'm even so desperate for good gameplay and presentation that I'll even accept loot boxes with open arms! Please. Give. Us. A. Good. Tennis. Game.

Unfortunately it looks like Tennis games have gone down the same road as Rugby games. Just watched some gameplay for this and AO and they both look abysmal. Top Spin 4 still looks better.

I voted cold, even of it is a good price for a new Switch game.

The same developers declared they did not have time to finish the game. And that they will use their "current" experience to improve their NEXT game NEXT year.

It is also reported a lot of issues.

So, please avoid buying and let's what they will bring next year.

Thanks for feedback saving me a trip to Argos to buy a game I've been watching and waiting for the price to drop , sound advice from HUkdealers as always . Cheers

    Cold, sorry op.

You might get a turd for £1 on offer instead of £5, but a turd is still a turd.

These developers don't deserve anyone's money with the attitude they've shown to their customer base.

That's exactly what they did, I assume they wanted it to be completely ready before release. However no way where they going to delay the game until after Wimbledon, regardless of any issues.

A good bit cheaper than those I've been watching on eBay recently for XB1, so hot.

Warnings aside, there is a significant lack of tennis games, so probably give it a go, then put back on eBay

Very poor looking, buggy demo of a game. So much still needing added. Might as well “do a Driveclub” and wait for them to fix it- and pick it up for a tenner

Roger Federer on the cover is the only good thing about this abysmal game

Opted for AO tennis this time round. Will happily pick this up when it's sub a tenner for the crack. Bring back Top Spin 4.

Likewise also gone for AO Tennis. At least that’s being regularly patched by the developer and there’s a community creating players, venues and logos.

Weren't expecting much at £28 and given the awful reviews. Love that it's getting patched gradually to make it a semi-decent game.
