I’m not biased toward either of the systems. The fact of the matter is however, the 2DS XL is only manufactured with the better IPS screens. There’s plenty of information available on this if you do your research.
The 2DS XL is a good bit of kit.
The 2DS XL all have the better screens, while with the 3DS XL it’s hit or miss which of the 2 different manufacturers screens you get.
The only other difference spec wise is the stereoscopic 3D. (edited)

A good fit, there is something very apt about correlating the compatibility of these unpopular, desirable, cheap amiibo's with such a console.

LOL. And the usual 2DS console(s) misinformation starts.... what on earth are you saying man? Your just making stuff up. There are many reasons why a 2DS unit sucks compared to a 3DS XL. I have posted them many time before and could well post them again but I can't be bothered as there is just 2DS bias and nonsense that follows as already evidenced here. Like your 2DS by all means, but don't just make nonsense up and pretend it is better than a 3DS XL.
