About this deal

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I think this is definitely worth a share with the Premium Pass going free today. You're effectively getting the Revolution Edition for a cracking £5.25.

Both the game and the Premium Edition are on sale (free) for a week until next Tuesday

3044721.jpg
Those cheeky blinders at Microsoft have the Revolution Edition reduced to £8.25, don't be caught out

I expect discounts on Origin (possibly around £4) for BF1, and obviously the PlayStation Store tomorrow when it updates for the base game.

Experience the dawn of all-out war only in Battlefield™ 1.

Fight your way through epic battles ranging from tight urban combat in a besieged French city to the heavily defended mountain forts in the Italian Alps or frantic combats in the deserts of Arabia. Discover a world at war through an adventure-filled campaign, or join in epic multiplayer battles with up to 64 players, and adapt your tactics to the earth-shattering destruction and dynamic weather. Fight as infantry, lead horse charges or take control of amazing vehicles on land, air and sea, from tanks and biplanes to the gigantic Behemoths – some of the largest vehicles in Battlefield history.

I didn't mind single player. Thought it was fun and interesting enough. Definitely worth a 5er.

    Season pass is multiplayer only.

This is a cracking price for a lot of game

Best online game going in my view, well worth this miniscule price. The first few minutes make you really glad you weren't there in person & set the scene.

Before release didn't think the WWI setting would work, but it certainly does! Even learnt some history from it without trying.

Not quite sure its scum. Its similar to how Netflix handle content available on their service. They pay a sum of money to acquire access to content for a particular length of time...in the hope that they get enough subscribers to justify the initial outlay.

I'd imagine Microsoft have to pay the developers of each game listed on Game Pass - and this will be listed for a particular length of time. It doesn't make much sense for the developers third party games to have their games available permanently in Game Pass. You also get notice when games are due to leave the service.

I believe first party games are available permanently. (edited)

The servers were getting a bit empty a few months ago but thanks to great offers like this the servers are full every night again. Multiplayer is awesome and the campaign was great too. Bargain at a fiver. Hot hot hot (edited)

Single player awesome but the length off the missions as you progress got shorter that was the only let down for me 4/5 for campaign would have been a 5/5 if it was longer awesome game though

ye mate! It's not worth it if ur considering subbing to ea access for a year in my opinion. Titanfall 1+2, older fifas, other sports games, older bf games, dead space games, mass effect games etc... defo make ea access a more worthwhile investment. Losing access to the games after the year though is why people may prefer to buy individual games if they plan on playing them for more than 1 year I suppose. (edited)

I have to say this is one of the best multiplayer games I have ever played, so much better than COD imo. Only problem is, despite all the DLC being given away one at a time, I never find games on the DLC maps. No problem when I search for base game maps though. And I have the search function open to all regions as well.

It was the same on BF4 and Hardline, DLC maps were usually dead after a while.

The first line of the EA spiel states "We're Giving Away Battlefield 1 Premium Pass".

I appreciate EA aren't the clearest, but they usually only open expansions in game, as opposed to store account purchases. It's no different to the single DLCs that have been on sale, which incidentally are all free to purchase separately again, too

He probs does what i do and plays like 2 of the games in it all year haha, but it's still a good investment for if u want to change it up a bit, there's plenty of choice, they're cheeky with still not adding fifa 18 though considering how old and obsolete it is now, and they also can take games out of the vault and we have no leg to stand on, which sucks many farts!
