sorted byOh jesus, I give up!
I make my own too, but as supermarket curries go, in my opinion you can't beat these ones.
What supermarket curry would you recommend instead then? I've yet to find one that's better than the M&S jalfrezi and the madras.
I don’t think you have ever had a proper curry if you think these are good lol
You're still missing the point.
I suggest making your own Have tried a few at the supermarkets and all are crap .
I think you're missing the point but I agree making at home is the best however, not everyone has the time or skills.
As I said at first, point me to a better supermarket curry, which is the point of this deal. Of course home made curries are better.

Or go to Home bargains and buy one of the pouches they have for under £1 and add some meat to it. Everyone needs a fast and easy option, but if you can't manage to cut some meat up into pieces, fry it, and then simmer it in a sauce for 20 minutes something's wrong!
These pouches make high quality curry, and they are easy to 'hack' with fresh cream, fresh coriander or fresh chillies/ veg. Pinging a curry in 5 minutes or cooking something much nicer in 20 minutes ?
Thighs on the bone de skin then chop them up if you want in India the thigh meat is the most expensive park of the chicken and not many ppl use breast the thighs don’t dry you unlike breast which can go chewy and is over priced
Unfortunately something so generalised makes it impossible as there are so many styles of curry from Phall to Korma and without knowing what your taste is a recommend is impossible.
This is a tasty recipe though and there are loads on the net, just google what you might like and there's sure to be a recipe for you:

You will get max 4 bits of meat in one of these curry’s not good value at all
2 mains plus 3 sides for £10 is a good price. I don't bother with their rice sides as basmati rice is easy enough to cook.
The Butter Chicken is very tasty and the Cauliflower Aloo is good.
Thanks - heat, OP!
And, yesterday I noticed the 'Asia' meal deal was available (Thai & Japanese dishes). Sometimes the two deals can be mixed & matched - it's worth checking. Thai Chicken Penang, and Thai Fishcakes are very both very good (i.m.h.o. - for the benefit of Surnjit ! ) (edited)
Asda curries are still the best around for me, but everyone has their own taste
Asda curry’s used to be good but since there head chef mr singh left and was replaced by a cook book thing have gone seriously down hill I suggest making your own curry it will work out a lot cheaper and taste better
Like the mrs always tells me there’s nothing wrong with extra meat.
Get a few spices £1 and get a pack of chicken thighs from Lidl for 1.59 and you will have 5 good portions of curry for about £5 (edited)
Chicken curry in 45 mins not many skills needed and you will have plenty to freeze for next time
Are the thighs on or off the bone? I always find thighs don't work well in homemade curry, breast is best
I prefer breast meat because I'm picky with eating off the bone but apparently chicken thighs make for a tastier curry. I will try and get a recipe for those that want one from my mum.
Cool or. Will
Be ready for 7 pm
Portions have been reduced too.
Why a supermarket curry why not a take away curry ?
