Yes, if you do keep 20 tabs open you will need more than the 4GB RAM that this has. 8GB would be better. Shame they don't offer a RAM upgrade at extra cost. Shouldn't come to much money to add 4GB.

Best place for cheap warranted DDR3 RAM is probably CeX. They almost always have it in stock and you’ll be sure it works (if you aren’t accidentally sold ECC).

You can swop the DVD drive for a caddy that will accept another HDD for around a fiver. I agree with the comments about needing 8GB RAM. Have a look on ebay, you'll probably get something slightly cheaper with the 8GB RAM.

I’m sure it has a 16x PCIe slot but it’s low-profile, I could be wrong. (edited)

    Add in

    Gigabyte 1050 3gb ~£115
    120gb SSD ~£20
    4G ram ~ £10

Then you have a PC that will play all modern gaming titles.

If you want to skimp a bit you can get a 750ti LP for about £50 on ebay.

    I am very confused now

There are various Elite 8300 models:
    MT (micro-tower)
SFF (this one, small form factor)
    Ultra-thin (basically a headless laptop).

The ultra-thin takes SO-DIMMs (small order DIMM for laptops) and the other two take desktop DIMMs (240-pin DDR3).

1050 doesn't need supplemental power (so 75W max over PCIe bus) and the PSU is rated for 240W so you'll be fine even under max load.

    This would be fine:
    amazon.co.uk/Gig…050

The top review is actually someone with a very similar machine (I assume from the 240W PSU). (edited)

Sounds like you got quite the bargain. The i5-6500 CPU is probably worth more than £60 on it's own. I wouldn't bother with a new case, just mount it outside, all these branded towers tend to have some proprietary bits in them so I don't think it's as easy as dropping it into another case without modification or expense.
