Update 5: If you get asked for a mobile number verification, just connect to Netflix without a VPN and verify with a uk Number and then go back to VPN to subscribe with turkich Liras.

Update 4: when you get the prices shown in USD despite being connected to a VPN, that means this VPN does not work for this method. you have to choose another VPN.

Update 3: the Prices listed below for turkey did not change. if you see other higher prices, just continue and you will get the normal prices when you pay.

Update 2: Check the Pricing of each country HERE

Update 1: There are many unanswered questions in the comments. I will try to answer some of them down below.

There is been a Netflix Deal for almost a year but it has not been updated since then. I decided to bring this to life again with some updates as the price is very attractive now and the method still works fine. I did subscribed to a new Netflix plan yesterday using TorGuard VPN with server Turkey protocol UDP without any issues. After I subscribed I disabled the VPN and I can watch all TV Shows and Movies that are available for the UK on all devices.

Prices should be as following for Netflix Turkey

Basic
£2,33 / 15,99TRY
Standard:
£4,08 / 27,99TRY
Premium:
£5,80 / 39,99TRY

How to subscribe?

  • For existing users: unsubscribe from your existing plan and wait until it expires then do as following!
  • Download a VPN or use VPN Deal Here
  • Connect the VPN to server Turkey
  • open a private page in your browser (inkognito)
  • Go to netflix.com
  • Log in to your existing account or Create new account
  • Choose a plan > all prices will be shown in TL Turkish Currency
  • Insert your Credit Card details in subscribe to your favorite plan
  • That is all!
You can use Curve Card or Revolut Card to avoid foreign Transaction fee

No, Only one time to subscribe to Netflix.

What is a VPN?

No, it is all in English as a normal UK Netflix Account

Can I watch US Netflix in the UK?
yes, by using a Streaming Ip. I personally use a Streaming Ip from Torguard Deal.

would paypal payments work with this?
No, use monzo, starling or revolut to avoid foreign transaction fees

Is there any free VPN to achieve this deal?
Free VPNs : OpenVPN - speedify

Does NordVPN works for getting this deal?
No, it does not

Turkey prices have gone up?
No, Netflix experiments from time to time on new prices. Those prices do not apply when you pay.

Money I save on Turkish deal will spend on VPN to watch from USA, is it possible?
Yes, just use a US Streaming IP from this Deal.

Is Argentina cheaper than Turkey?
No, it is not. Check pricing here for each country

Why do you do this? The quality of content on Netflix is 100% dependent on it's revenue. By doing this you are only making it worse for yourself, not to mention ripping off everyone else around you that's paying full price.

Personally I'd rather Netflix was double the price so we got more choice and more original content.

There's a reason Netflix is almost half price in Turkey, they have half the amount of content we do.

So tell me, every time a mis-price deal is posted do you call the company and tell them about it? If something rings up cheaper at the supermarket than the shelf price do you tell them and offer to pay the extra? No. Thought not. Selective superiority syndrome. Nobody is doing anything illegal. It’s called a work around. I think your nominal is very apt.

I bought a one year Netflix account on eBay last year, it lasted me a month then went off! Messaged the eBay seller and they sent an e-mail with about 30 accounts on.. They lasted maybes another month
Moral of the story, don't buy Netflix accounts on eBay

i suppose you could always ask a supplementary question; If Netflix can make money charging Turkish people much less than they charge us, why can't they charge us the same? (edited)

I wouldn't normally consider joining Netflix but might using this deal so they have gained a customer. I imagine there is a very low percent of people who go down this route to join.

Netflix is already incredible value compared to something like SKY TV.

How much Turkish content do they produce, how much English content is dubbed for the Turkish market? Their price reflects their service, economy, market.

You can all come up with all the excuses you like, but you ARE breaking their terms of service and you all know this is wrong.

You would have to be naive to think Netflix weren't aware people were doing this.. people have done it for years. It's a small minority of people. When it affects the business in a large enough way they can justify the expense of implementing a system to block it.. they will. I don't support people doing this either but at least it isn't illegal downloading/paying for an illegal service. (edited)

This is exactly why our content is getting f***, it happened to the music industry and it’ll happen to tv and movies soon too. If you want it all for free then not long down the line that’s exactly the quality of content you will have - content worth nothing. It boggles my mind that people can’t get their heads around different licensing costs, taxes and economies. Netflix has pumped so much money into the industry and offered so many opportunities for creators and viewers a like I will support them with the full price. It costs less than an hours work for a month of good content FFS, it’s the future with a cheaper cost than the past (sky etc)

You could look at it like this. I, for one, refuse to fund Premierships ridiculous wages so I watch football but do not contribute financially. I stream movies and go to the cinema. Netflix has had a dramatic change in cinema attendance has never been as low since 1992, so you are part of decreasing that system. Please play your miniature violin somewhere else. (edited)

It's a worldwide service and netflix promote it as such stating if you move region/country you will no longer get the turkish content but the relevant content for the area you're in at the time. However, they say, you will always be charged in the currency in which you joined but you can leave and rejoin if you wish to overcome this. I joined whilst actually in turkey and they send me emails several times a week with all the news for the uk programmes. Their revenue from monthly subscriptions must be fantastic for any of the providers; if you ring up sky and cancel the first thing they do is put a link on your account to get it for half price. Perhaps what you pay in turkish lira is more in line to what we should be paying for the service. (edited)

But this annoys me. Do you all not want better movies? TV Shows etc? You're taking from the hand that feeds you!

But some are far more hypocritical than others. You can't simply choose what you wish to adopt a moral stance on and what you don't wish to adopt a moral stance on because that is the epitome of a hypocrite.

I started doing this about 6 months ago using my Transferwise card and Hola VPN. Its worked perfectly ever since.

For those sitting on their high-horse about doing this, be aware that Netflix funneled all their UK profits (£500m) last year through the Netherlands, thus avoiding any taxes and even got an EU rebate. If they're happy to alter their location to rob us of tax, who the hell are you to be high-and-mighty about the couple of quid I save per month doing this.

This is the work of criminal gangs who obtain accounts using fraudulent methods. I don't know if you knew that, or that this is funding serious criminality.

Seems to be a number of people here making excuses rather than admit that they're doing something dodgy. Personally I think it's kind of crappy to do, for the amount of content the rate they charge really isn't bad and has no ads. At the same time they have a huge debt and barely profitable. (edited)

I’m saving a good 3.50+ per month on the usual 9.99 sub. That’s 42 quid a year. That’s also a nice trip to the zoo for example for me and my kid so I don’t see it as pointless.
