For Scottish buyers, Amazon still appears to be the cheapest for Stella between 1.70-1.80 per litre usually.

good for mothers day stella wife beater

It's surprising how that stigma hangs around.
It's a very different lager these days.

The ABV has come down (probably due to tax reasons) and it's a surprisingly much better drink for it.

The old stuff did noticeably strange things to people, this one doesn't and hasn't for quite some time, in my humble opinion of course.

£19 online and instore in the People's Republic of Scotland. Same at Tesco.
But you can have four packs delivered from Amazon Pantry for £56, which is what I just did.
    Cheers, Nicola. (edited)

Minimum unit pricing in Scotland means retailers must love this. 18 cans of stella tends to be around the £19 mark. That's a hell of a nice bit of profit for them.

It is now £15 for a pack, I have paid as little as £12, so will have to wait for it to drop again. Bud Light was also £12, but up to £14 now.

Quite possibly, but it's a bit dim for the Scottish govt to introduce it and let the retailers profit from it rather than collect the proceeds and use it

Good lager but my missus hates it for 1 reason: she always complains our bedroom stinks every morning if I had pleasure to consume 2 or more cans after work

Don't suppose that ever occurred to them. Or maybe they thought that a tax based on a minimum price would be extraordinary complex to administer, and it was much easier to just introduce a simple rule and let the market sort it out.

Minimum unit pricing didn't really effect Stella's price. Only the stuff tramps drink. All the decent tasting stuff hasn't changed in price at all

They will get higher proceeds due to the higher amount of vat now on the purchase price. So not as dim as you thought

The extra in VAT is not huge in comparison to the overall increase. Supermarkets are selling this for £12 while in Scotland it goes for £19. That's £7 extra to the retailer(minus a bit of VAT) Don't really see why the Scottish government bring something in that simply adds to the profits of the companies selling booze

You do realise duty and excuse is huge on alcohol?

As in a £6 bottle of wine costs the supermarket 50p to buy but because of taxes they have to sell for 10 times that to make a profit.

Anyway if you dont like it you know what to do. Move. It hasn't effected anything I drink so I dont care if neds and alkies now have to pay more for their cider
