Mainly apex. Apex has taken the competitive side that blackout could have had and Fortnite has the fun side which attracts the masses. I'd imagine it has ten times the amount of weekly players than cod and spending a lot more money on it... Cod are too pushy and greedy. Fortnite have created their own lane and cod is trying to drive in it

I mean let's be honest, fortnite actually drove in PUBG's lane. I bought that game as a zombie defense game way before it ever had battle royale.

I find this blackout mode completely against the concept of COD which essentially is 3-4 min of adrenaline rush and mayhem.

1 min waiting
1 min test drop
2 min landing
2 min weapon gathering
3 min run
Die by bullet from behind...

Also just announced a new Blackout map will be released tomorrow on PS4 (PC/Xbox later date). The new map is a close quaters so no running around a really big map for ages only to get shot by a sniper miles away.

Map has expanded and more weapons have been added. A few new game modes including hot pursuit where you can respawn after a certain amount of time providing at least 1 team mate is alive. Also hardcore mode which means no armour no HUD no indication where the circle is going to close up.

I'll definitely be trying this out. I wasn't that impressed by Firestorm in BFV so I'd like to see how this plays. I doubt if it will take me away from Apex but for free I'll give it a look.

Tried playing a few games of Blackout the last time it went F2P, but always got killed by some camping sniper I couldn't see. Personally pref Apex Legends and Fortnite since it's a lot easier to see where/who you're being attacked from.

Just checked blizzard’s on PC and appears to be free too !

This is a test before the mode is made free to play in a few months time, so they don't anger people who bought the full game

I had to last time. Once the trial was over I went out and bought the full game.

PS4 and once the trial was almost over. I went on amazon got the disc version for £20. When it arrived the next day instead of deleting the trial I just put the disc in and a message came up asking if I wanted to convert the digital version to a disc based version so I selected yes and that was it the trial become the full disc version. No extra install needed the full game was ready to play right there and then.

No campaign, im still not buying

Thx.However mine is currently downloading now and says 82.767 GB!

The entire game is 84gb on my harddrive. Sometimes I just want to uninstall it just to get it off there but I still play with people.

I was thinking of downloading just the 'free trial' for a month to save on space but by the sounds of it, it downloads the entire game anyway.

Black ops 4 is the worst game ever on any platform. It feels like it's still in alpha. It's got the highest amount of cheaters ever and nothing is done about it. The graphics are old for these times. A lot of the maps are from previous games. This game kills off a lot of the call of duty popularity. Don't bother.

You have to download the full game which is about 51GB plus there is a new update coming out in the next few hours.
