What supermarket sells London Cheesecake?

We did some cat-sitting for one of my boyfriend's colleagues a couple of weeks ago and in his colleague's town there was only a Co-op where we could shop; when we went to do some shopping my boyfriend picked up a pack of Peacock Foods London Cheesecakes in there and didn't expect to find them so nice.

We do have a Co-op here too but it's a bit out of the way. I did a quick search and they should be in Aldi too? Anyone knows for sure? Aldi is a little closer at least.

Or does anyone know if I can source them online? Greggs does them but they don't have jam in them so they aren't as good. Thanks in advance

    No, it's got coconut and jam and it's a pastry. I am Italian so not an expert in your cakes but I assume it's a London thing (my boyfriend was born and brought up in London but we live in Essex Now).

    I know you said supermarket but I'm sure Greggs sell them, or at least used to. Very underrated.

    No London cheesecakes are Landon cheesecakes

     when I was young we called them Hairy Buns, only 2 years ago rough Google did I find there real name.  Love them but hard to find round here.

    That's the default merchant for the all the non-students' on this forum to benefit from thier 10% Coop NUS discount.

    I’m a Londoner and didn’t know what a London cheesecake was until I saw your photo. Just know them as a pastry cheesecake.

    Aldi always have them but they’re not great. Greggs sell them - a bit pricey but very tasty. They do a version filled with fresh cream too. (edited)

    I do work in one of the biggest, if not the biggest, Sainsbury's in the UK and they don't sell them.

    I might try making my own as I don't think they are too complicated but I just wanted to get the ones I know for sure he likes. He's quite fussy with food. (edited)

    wow, that looks really delicious. i grew up in london but i have never seen that cake before. i wondered why it was called a cheesecake as those white stuff on the top didn't look like cheese. are you sure it is called a cheese cake?
    and that it has the name london in it?

    i will pop into the co-op when i am next in london to see if i can get one. (edited)

    Absolutely sure. I have had it as well and seen it in Greggs (but no jam) and we bought it in the Co-op like I said in my OP. This one is the one I am after.

    i am from the east end but i have never heard of a london cheesecake. but then again i don't pay attention to what cakes are called. i will have a look at the co-op and see if i can get one as i am intrigued to how it tastes but it looks really nice. there's a big co-op where my dad lives, so i am hoping they will have it in store.

    Love.london cheese cake you can get them in the aldi in East London but unfortunately I now live in the westcountry and not found them anywhere here
