£18! The Waze app gives you all of this, plus live mobile speed camera data for nothing. (edited)

Buy Sygic lifetime license and get every future map, speed traps and app updates included. Affair Sygic is using TomTom data for traffic updates. Also can work completely offline

Sygic was good years ago now their mission is how to rob customers and change the agreement... Sygic is a rubbish option worse than Tomtom...

I bought a lifetime subscription with unlimited access to updates and radars and after a year they changed the agreement and now I am able to update the maps 4 times a year and no access to premium radars at all but I paid extra for this option which is ridiculous...

Read a Trustpilot feedback from the customers regarding Sygic as in customers' opinion this company is a scam...

I agree with Paully. Waze is the best option and for free. Even Google maps are quite OK as a back up option. What gets people to buy TomTom etc. nowadays?

Hence I mentioned Google maps, you can download offline maps and stay cool even with no coverage. There is much more options ofcourse. (edited)

But even the best waterproofed smartphone in a ruggedised mag-alloy and neoprene shell isn't going to last long being bounced down a dual carriageway at 70mph! - admittedly I wouldn't reckon on the chances of your average TT car device, but I've still got a working (now slightly scruffy) "Rider" to prove my point that dedicated devices still have their uses

I see your point now. My one is for a car, so that's slightly different story. However it is obsolete (it used to cost £270) and TomTom don't do maps for it any more. It's a matter of personal preference. I couldn't be bothered to use dedicated devices for each function ( for example a smartphone covers compass, alarm, voice recorder, GPS and much more in one box).

How are you getting it for £15...?[Image] Still better to go with the mobile app and pay as you can use multiple devices and download any map.

I believe they stopped 3 year subscriptions in 2017 and that is also the last year I saw them offering discounts on the subscription. Hence my interest in a discounted 3 year subscription. I'm surprised at the price of your 1 year subscription. I thought it was £14.99 for everyone.

The fact there is no smartphone app for HGV drivers and if you follow Waze it will take you down a lot of roads you don’t fit...

    Download Tom Tom app.
    It’s £25 for 3 years. Up to 3-4 devices
Includes all maps live traffic and camera (edited)

Realistically Waze was great when pretty unknown but now everyone is using the same traffic avoiding routes which is now causing traffic everywhere as a result of the apps popularity.

Must agree, it’s great to tell you about speed camera locations. Even if not using Waze there’s plenty of free navigation apps.

Waze.....absolute crap! Inaccurate traffic info and maps are rubbish! Tried and tested for a month all across EU. TomTom is best you can get for traffic. Maps are fine too and routing algorithm is one of the best in the market! But almost every newer unit comes with lifetime maps, traffic and speedcams.

Wow this is the spoon fed generation. Just google it.... not hard. It’s all there.
It goes from £25-£35 throughout the year.
Still cheaper and better than the rest
Even at £35 it’s just £11 per device. To change drives just login. Simple

The link you provided is 4 years old and, as far as I'm aware, they no longer provide 3 year options. Whether at £35 or not. Within the app, you only get the 1 year £15 option. Still interested if there is a 3 year option somewhere.

But dedicated device does job best! Phone for GPS is just for occasional use, as if you use it frequently- inconvenient. And I have tried TomTom on mobile(easy to get one with unlimited mileage for free ) and dedicated TomTom Go 5200. Difference as day and night!
