I was compiling a thread of items to put in the basket from my recent Poundshop dot com Deal post, and came across this curiosity. (Btw, Poundshop have the 50ml for £5 but postage is steep)

If you know your perfume dupes, you'll have heard of Milton Lloyd and generally their copies are pretty well-regarded.

Be aware this comes in 50ml and 83ml bottles - this is the 50ml.
3242549.jpgCheapest I can see the 83ml is £11.50 from ebay ebay.co.uk/itm…734
Edit: Actually, Amazon 3rd party seller Akshar T/A B&B has 83ml for £11.30 + Free Deliveryamazon.co.uk/gp/…2HQ

Or 3 x 50ml for £15.99 (£5.33 each) ebay.co.uk/itm…221

This one is supposedly very close to Creed Aventus and lasts a long time. Amazon reviews here

AROMATIC FOUGERE ORIENTAL FRAGRANCE
Fresh invigorating top notes of apple, bergamot and blackcurrant enhanced with juicy pineapple on a aromatic floral heart of Jasmin and Rose. The rich and elegant base notes of oakmoss, amber and warm vanilla impart sensuality and masculine power.

I know Armaf Club De Nuit Intense is considered the best of the clones - but - I have read it's been reformulated quite recently and not quite as good (?).

I literally bought this yesterday because I thought it was a good deal so as I could try it for basically a fiver before I purchase any more. I just say that it does smell very nice but two things are a let down. 1. It's in an aerosol type container so you can't help but use quite a bit each time ( but for a fiver who gives a ";!? ) 2. It lasts about 10 minutes .... I know that some people may find it lasts longer but i was very disappointed in the longevity of it. I have the "Club de Nuit" which i find lasts a whole day and my wife can still smell it the next day. Just my thoughts.

The only Milton Lloyd I've ever bought was for my niece who wanted a Lady Million clone to wear to work.

You're right, the spray is very strange - it sprays like a deodorant rather than a one-shot-at-a-time perfume sprayer. They should really sort that out!

She seemed happy with it but I can't really offer much insight about Milton Lloyd's scents/longevity, personally.

Been toying with the idea of purchasing this fragrance for a little while now so for £5.99 I thought I'd give it a try! Cheers

Agree with this. I have had these Perfumer's Choice before and they *don't* last long at all. Not sure it is worth it.

IMHO Put aside the money (e.g. £6.49 for this) every time you want to buy one of these clones & you will soon have enough saved to buy the originals or a very very good clone. Just my two cents worth.

It should be, I've checked them all. Unless your browser doesn't like affiliate links (not mine - HUKD's).

Here's a more generalised video summing up Creed Aventus clones (nearly 27 minutes long, though!), again from Youtuber 'Smell Good, Feel Good Fragrance.'

At 18:57 he talks about Perfumer's Choice No 9 in more depth
Here's an online list of Creed Aventus-alikes, with user-submitted reviews smell-a-likes.com/fra…tus
Milton Lloyd - Perfumers Choice No.9 Victor is mentioned halfway down the page. (edited)

I was going to get one for the car, but hearing it's an aerosol it might be a bit dangerous during the hot days.

I bought boyf the 50ml from Poundshop, out of curiosity, as well.

Tried it nothing like creed maybe the lemon bit but thats about it. Smells cheap and horrible when it settles. Wouldn't recommend but for a fiver maybe you can try it.

I'm due my delivery today so I'll give it a skoosh. Could cheekily take it to a department store and see what they think!! (I'm in the city centre, more or less).

Edit: Seems I missed Next Day Delivery (I ordered a few minutes before 4.30pm) - nothing's arrived today (edited)

Yes, all Milton Lloyd seem to be like aerosol and seem to finish quickly.

I've brought quite a few of Milton Lloyd EDT's in the past and have found most do smell like the big name brands & can easily last 3-6 hours

Haven't had my delivery yet..now says "due Monday". I ordered around 4.27pm (they had a one day delivery promo if you ordered before 4.30pm) so I'm guessing I just missed the fast shipping
