Fantastic sale.

Gotta laugh though at Capcom, Resident Evil 0/1/4 are 33% off and they're still more expensive than the full price versions on PS4 and Xbox.

My theory is Nintendo need to keep digital prices high to ensure the retail sales don’t get wiped out.

If that were to happen, the shops wouldn’t bother stocking the console either. That would be a huge loss.

It's the truth rather than a theory. None of them wants to undermine retail.

Sony in an interview with Eurogamer regarding the high prices for digital games on the PS4:
"First of all, we want to support a healthy retail channel, so it's not in our interest to go and seriously undermine retail."

Gara added that shops often price games lower than RRP in an effort to attract your business - more aggressively in the UK than in other countries

We didn't have a ps4, xbox or anything til Monday then I bought the kids a Nintendo Switch. They don't know about it yet so I've been setting it up after bed time and scanning HotUKDeals every few minutes looking for the latest games post. This post has solved the no games senario and I also bought Alex Kidd in Miricle World, never completed it back in the days of fading memory so i cant wait to achieve even less this time round.

Can't wait for the kids to come back from school and find it set up and ready to go, might need to find a post for war defenders I can block out screams of a 6 & 8 yrs olds.

Thankyou @mixmixi for the massive effort any chance it can alphabetically next time

If you really want to make it up to us, you can:

- include the cheapest region and corresponding price
- highlight lowest-ever prices in bold
- sort the list A-Z
- add Metacritic scores

Gear Club Unlimited for £13.49. Is it actually any good though? I fancy a more realistic arcade racer on Switch, and there's not a lot of options. I was waiting for Grid Autosport, but the summer release window seems to have gone very quiet...

Strange Journey Redux for 3DS at £14 is fantastic.

Heat added for effort but Nintendo this is absolute pony , they sell at high prices that when they knock off 33% it just becomes the original price you could have paid for it day 1 on PS/XB. For gods sake these are digital not cartridge prices . No wonder I've not played the switch for 4months. Probably time for me to sell .
