I had this briefly, but sent it back. There wasn't much mess after using it, but I don't accredit the vacuum functionality with this, instead it was the complete lack of cutting ability!

If you're after a trimmer I recommend the Philips 5000 BT5200/13 series. It's on amazon for £34.99, I bought it about 2 years ago now and its simply a brilliant trimmer. It lasts 1 hour and only takes 1 hour to charge and the battery is still in tip top shape. I paid £32 back then so for it to still be sub 30 says a lot! Well worth it. There's been no decrease in battery life aswell.

I agree. I bought this vacuum one to replace my 5000 because the battery had died, but I think I'll just get another 5000

How long did it last? I've never overcharged it maybe that's why mines still in good shape maybe

I always ran it down but did leave it charge for a few days at a time.
I think I had it a few years to be fair so definitely got my money's worth.
The only reason I bought the 7000 instead of going for another 5000 was the guard length. If the 5k went up to 14mm or so it'd be perfect

Don't know why people slate these so much. I have one and it works perfectly. It doesn't catch 100% of hairs but I never expected it to. It still performs way better than I thought it would. Cleanup after shaving is so much easier with this.

The only downside is that, because of the layout of the cutting head and guard, you can't really do under your nose.
