You can probably buy a used radio on ebay with a code for much less.
Pull out the radio if you can and PM me the last 4 digits of the barcode and the SN I will try to get a code for you. I have a calculator here, if it doesn't work I can ask a friend to see if he can help.
It's normally printed on the back of your manual or logbook

Pull the radio out and see if it's written on the back. A lot of dealers write them on the back so they don't have your problems if they lose battery power (changing battery, service work etc). You may be lucky.

Try this.. Turn ignition on and wait for it to display "CODE IN" Then hold the number 4 while pressing the power button TWICE (don't hold the power button down though).

You're welcome. Just out of interest, what are Nissan wanting to charge you? It used to be about a tenner and you could get it just by giving them your VIN number.
