Amazfit Verge Lite - with NFC and OLED. Same seller and shipped from Spain.
Doesn't have nfc I believe, and around 5-7 days
Useful to know. They should lead the marketing with stuff like this.
No NFC
The positive is that I found "notify and fitness amazfit", a third party app that does everything the old app did and more, third party watchfaces, and so on.
TL;DR
These are great watches, brilliant battery life and features for the money, use the official app to sync then use "notify and fitness" app day to day!

It keeps them separate. My daughter uses my Mii band 2 and I use my Amazfit Stratos both sync to their respective apps on my phone

NFC? Don't see it listed as a feature. Plastic case vs ceramic on the Pace. No on-board music means you have to take a phone while exercising, unlike the Pace. The OP's deal is the better device IMHO.

GPS is accurate, has many different exercise options and ability to change the watch face. Music players works fine with my wireless headphones.
The screen is great, I have knocked it about a bit and thankfully no scratches yet. No NFC on this model.
Syncs to Strava perfectly fine aswell as well as the Amazfit app.
If I'm honest the HRM isn't great. I haven't noticed it faking an HR like you mention but if I'm on my bike I do get ridiculously high readings! Resting, walking, etc it's ok.
I just put it on the table and started a treadmill activity. The only value that budged from zero was the timer.

you might be right... but even on regular version (no Lite) description they don't mention anything about NFC.

I have the Amazfit Bip and it's really good, only let down by the HRM, which if you set the watch down flat on a table and start an exercise will show (mysteriously) the heart-rate climb as if you are actually doing the exercise when clearly, you're not. I'd like a heart-rate monitor, not a heart-rate algorithm!
