Video 2000 anybody??
Unlikely, the superior video quality of Betamax would render it invalid.
Videoplus, nah way to easy, I had to use the bar-code reader on my Panasonic VHS recorder remote handset to scan predetermined bar-code time slots printed on a hard plastic booklet just to record an episode of Minder.
What are you on about, Minder was brilliant.
What a theme tune
Not until all our homes have listening devices or even cameras that corporations and government can tap into, but that'll never happen.
Oh wait..
That advert is forever etched in my memory as a child.
I’m going to tell you how it’s going to be, it’s scotch’s lifetime guarantee, watch what you want both night and day, then re-record not fade away...
Why does the brain remember crap but forget anything useful?😫
100% agree! Which makes it the perfect cover, no? (Btw I'm not normally one to care about such things, but the naming of this didn't need to be 1984, so it's am in-joke that's a little too close for my own liking. Looks good though). (edited)
Who doesn't love a bit Retro!
I must admit I've still got an old video recorder, maybe one day they'll come back
It's not just the grainyness there's the different colour balancing, vignetting etc. There's an android app (I forget the exact name but something like Retro Camera) that lets you pick different cameras e.g. Polaroid etc.
Apparently there is, but only for Windows phones
I think you mean Generation Z. Millenials (Gen Y) grew up using VHS!
Onwards, and upwards, and all that ... lol. :-)
Those secret squirrel government departments already have access to your devices.
Another app will make no difference at all.
If you want to lead a private existence - you will have to give up your tech..
Yeah 1981 is the start of the millennial year of birth.
I had a JVC top loader with a remote on wire, also tuning in my TV with a knob as it couldnt set channels.
We had all our phone numbers written in a phone book, I remember my 1st mobile phone, a brick Nokia, the sim was built into the phone.
The boomers that think millenials are lazy and entitled and only born after the year 2000 are a stereotype for their low education and high and mighty opinions. (edited)
Remember getting a pack of them every year off my Brother for Xmas!
Found an old Scotch tape from years ago and read the guarantee. They were having us on all along. Its states only if the format is still readily available!!!
Bloody racket!!
How is it going to film and save photos/videos without those permissions?
Just wipe a little Vaseline on the lens and voila instant crap 80’s picture effect
I'm a millennial, I've used more VHS tapes than you've had hot dinners... let me guess.. boomer?
Ah yes...and it reminded me of those Maxell adverts where they used the singer from Bauhaus (Pete Murphy)
Maxell, all the way......Peter Murphy way, way cooler.....
youtube.com/wat…6bc
Now then that was for audio cassettes! Sure they had a look a like do the video tapes though?
Well true, the advert was for Audio Tapes...but Maxell did do VHS Cassettes too. Many an X Files episode were taped on these.....
