This is odd. My comment on here stating this is a duplicate post was removed then I was messaged to say the duplicate post was removed.
The other post was posted on 11th Oct so not sure what you Mods are doing but give credit who ever posted first please.
    Thanks reindeer3333 anyways.

These 20%off deals are like DFS Sale ( always on sale)
    First :Inflate the prices
    Second: provide 20-30%off
Result: end up paying the same amount. (edited)

I'd say stay away from Hi Tech Electronics personally. I've bought alot of stuff from them. They send you grey imports with damaged boxes (which they clearly get on discount). Many times, the promised extras / accessories have also not been sent out and they also include worthless very dangerous chargers with things like the ipads etc. I have posted about this before with pics. The chargers they send out will kill someone. Poor customer services too. No thanks. (edited)

Hence why I won't be posting mobile deals from then, I posted a *new* note 9 from them a few weeks ago, people commented they came opened, and were foreign phones.

I haven't heard about any of the Google stuff being grey imports, but thanks for the warning.

Just out of curiosity, why do so many posters expect others to do their searches for them?
  14. AnkerMan's avatar
The only deal that was great imo was the 20% off site wide one. But they are either incredibly rare or given away to other countries. Meanwhile we get the ones that probably subsidize the "no final value fee" offer that appears three days later.

Hey The other post was scheduled for release today at 6am. The team received a heads up from eBay about it but it could not be communicated until 6am. This post here was posted 40 minutes before ours way due to go live. It happens pretty rarely but in this situation we remove ours and allow this one. The timestamp of the other thread was just the day it was originally created.

I imagine eBay then sent details of the code over this morning but after I had posted the details. Quick look at Ebuyer and I see prices are way above normal making the code pointless.

I'm sure there are retail rules on price establishment before offering a sale, ramping your prices up and then offering a "discount" is pretty dishonest.

    Heard of 'searching'?

Heard of, 'if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything?'

To be fair, the search function on eBay leaves a lot to be desired. When i try to search for items using the sellers in the promo i get an error, they don't make it easy. (edited)

Ive recently purchased an apple watch from them. It was an import but it clearly said in their ad that it would come with a usa charger and a uk adapter. I checked with apple website and it comes with full apple warranty and it was brand new in an undamaged sealed box. They did forget to pack the uk adapter but when I pointed this out they refunded the cost of me having to buy one, so thats good customer service too for me.
I would just say read their ads carefully (as you should with any ebay ad). Im really pleased with my bargain purchase and would definitely deal with them again. (edited)

Magpie is yet again severely overpriced, even after 20%OFF. Mostly "Good quality" available. It is passing me off, calling used phones "Refurbished" I can every day refurbish mine too, just by going to settings and pressing factory reset. It won't improve its condition, would it?!

Just go to the main eBay promotion page for this deal, it let's you browse categories or search with the results filtered for these sellers only.
