    This site confuses me.

Someone posts a Sky deal with 50% off that is actually more expensive than offers available last week, and the masses vote it hot.

I post a deal yesterday for Virgin Media with 500mb fibre, complete tv, movies + sports, 2 x V6 boxes and an unltd sim card for £79 a month with another £200 available cashback and that goes to -55 degrees.

If it wasnt for the excitement of the flamedeer hunts, id have left this site by now.

Just did a check on an order i was thinking of placing last week and it was £71 a month last week, as i wrote it all down.

It now comes in at £77 a month using the special 50% off link.

    hmmmmm.

I could be wrong, but these deals seem worse then what was on last week.

HD, movies and netflix is £40 now, yesterday it was £35.....

Doesn't seem to be for existing as once you sign in - those offers disappear.

When you select the channel packages (for example Sports) it clearly states "in HD as standard"......then when you select the Q Box it wants you to pay extra for HD again........am I missing something?

Have you actually won anything from the flamedeer hunts? I went all out in the halloween event and nada. Never again lol.
Anyway, theres nothing confusing about how people vote on this site and the inherent flaws with the system.

    It’s available to everyone.

Phone and ask for their Value team.
Just quote the bundle option you want, and they’ll tell you the difference to what you currently have to ensure you’re happy (if your an existing customer).

    However...

There’s a new SkyQ 1TB box that will be UHD+HDR coming out very soon and will be able to support x2 mini boxes at one time (just like the 2TB supports x2)
The new 1TB box will be classed as a re-contract upgrade.

So if you’re taking one of the Black Friday recontract deals, and then take the new box recontract at a later time: there will be a few months of a price difference.

    Something to consider.

This site is nowhere near as good as it used to be. Your example is a good once. There was another one last month or the month before where a Hollister t-shirt was £5 which I purchased and there were 2 colours and 2 or 3 days later someone posted the yellow one at half price for £7.50 and it got really hot. It didn’t seem to matter it was 33% cheaper a few days earlier. Also someone posted a really poor Amex deal on which I commented it had been on my Amex for 3 weeks to which a comment saying, “why didn’t you post it then” got a number of likes”... because it’s a poor Amex deal that was available for a long time and why would you post everything that’s potentially card specific? This site used to have lots of really good deals that were greats finds/steals. They are still around but people are so lazy they don’t even read posts properly, vote like the masses (if it’s hot it must be a good deal etc) and post any old supermarket price reduction / Iceland deal / M&S meal deal / every find possible from an eBay code, every find of a single item from a post where a glitch has been found... its definitely not quality over quantity. The great deals are out there but there is so much rubbish to scroll through.
Yes I have only posted 3 deals but they were good finds and hopefully helped someone. I’m not going to tell you what’s in the Lidl catalogue or the windows of the local Iceland store. If you are such a deal seeker and you have all this time to look at HUKD then surely you have the time to take note of supermarket deals and what’s on your own Amex.
Keep on posting mate, you found a good deal and hopefully helped someone. (edited)

Rip off, if it was £20 for all channels with HD I'd bite. I got that two years ago on a retention offer so know they can do it (I even got £100 credit too).

Netflix and Prime is enough for me, I'll be getting Disney+ in march too. All will be about £20 a month, way better value than sky. (edited)

If you call up Sky and state you wish to cancel your Sky Sports or Cinema package they usually 99% of the time offer you 40/50% off for 18 months I’ve found, helpful tip for anyone

Not sure what the deal is, currently paying £15/month for Sky Q.

    50% off all bundles?
On Monday I was looking at TV, it was £22 for the entertainment pack or £25 with Netflix.
    Today its £22 + £6, so £28
    Hardly 50% off.

Existing customer on Sky Q HD multi room Full TV package incl sports etc, nothing showing online so called them and they have reduced monthly bill around 45% with phone call and offered new 18month deal straight away, no change to existing equipment which was already decent spec, so thanks , normally as an existing customer I get 'errrm no' when I've called previously. Very happy (edited)

The site is full of sheep buddy. As soon as a deal goes in a particular direction (hot or cold) most people just agree and press the same button unless it's an ebay £1 fvf it's the law that you vote hot.

Take these for example. How is this 500+ degrees

I stopped after sky wouldn't give me another 75% off for a 3rd year. Then got rid of box and card as didn't intend on going bacj and 3 months later they sent me a come back to sky for £17 with everything in HD. Wouldn't let me have that offer with new box and card though...

From my experience, Virgin are the WORST company I’ve ever dealt with, if they offered the full package with 1000mb fibre for £20 a month I’d still avoid so I’d vote anything they do cold.

Regardless, you’ve been on here way too long to be worrying about “heat”, it’s been pointless for many years now, e.g £5k camera reduced to £3500 will be voted cold “because my iPhone can take pictures and didn’t cost this”
