Valuable feedback. Cancelled my order. Will wait for a 4k 32" deal.

You could be in for a bit of a wait if you're expecting a 4k 32" to be anywhere near this sort of price.

That doesn't make sense, if you think the sweet spot for 24" is 1080p then this should be fine as it has a higher PPI than that.

    1920 x 1080 at 24" - 91.79 PPI
    2560 x 1440 at 31.5" - 93.24 PPI

Have dabbled with overclocking a little further, like to 90Hz?

I'm not overclocking. My casual use does not need it. For serious gaming, my preference would have been to opt for a native 144Hz. Maybe someone else knows or can try.

The 1650 will support Freesync on this monitor too although the range is something like 48-75 which isn't the best.

"Got my son a hamming computer for Xmas", what's your son going to do, play on it or eat it?

This monitor would be a good choice, a 75hz monitor is not essential over 60hz but if you can get a higher one for a comparable price (like this one), then go for it.

Agreed, those £180 isn't bad for what it is. It also leaves an unsightly stub at the bottom.

I purchased this monitor a few weeks ago for £200, even then it was good value, at £150 it is a steal! No, this is not a high spec gaming monitor for the aficionados, or the spec nerds, but for the average joe using it to surf the net, word process etc it is great. Genuinely recommended!!

Have the VA edition of this, which is pretty good but plagued with ghosting in dark scenes. Tempted to get this. 75Hz is better than most devotees of 144/165Hz will admit.

Obviously depends on your viewing distance, I've been a 1440p @32" owner for several years and when I tried 4k @32" it did my head in.

Was just about to take the plunge on this when it went oos a few weeks back. Been waiting for it to come back down again.

The PS4 cannot output at 1440p or 75Hz.

The Xbox One X can output at 1440p I believe, although only at 60Hz.

Haha, I was going to put 22", but the most common type of monitor is a 24" FHD.

I just know that going from 91.79 to 108.79 PPI was a noticable improvement, so (for my viewing distance) 100+ PPI is preferred. The 144 PPI that 4k 32" would give would be sweeeet (and probably do away the need for me to add AA in games).

Yeah my next monitor is going to be 32" 4k as I want something with more PPI - Probably gonna wait to see what we get in 2020 before deciding, hopefully the HDR improves.

I always hear people complaining about Windows scaling though which kinda puts me off. (edited)

How pixelated does it look in comparison?

I'm sitting close to mine, less than 60cm. In spite of that I don't notice any pixelation. Previously, I wanted a 4K, having used this I am happy with it and for me it is just right.

I much prefer a single large screen to 2 small ones, so this suits me perfectly and I now use one both at home and at work. In my many years of computing, I've never used a VESA mount, so the lack of this didn't concern me. I have a GTX 1060 hooked up to it at home with Linux and it enables Freesync support fine with the proprietary Nvidia driver (there's some options you tick on in nvidia-settings). Got to say that the OSD navigation is "tricky" - I keep forgetting what each button does at what point, leadIng to a lot of trial and error!

As for 4K monitors, I did have a Samsung 28" 4K and it was pointless - I had to 2x scale everything to be able to read anything on the desktop! I suspect a 32" 4K monitor might also need (perhaps lesser?) scaling - my next 4K will probably be >32" once the long wait for the crazy pricing to drop comes to an end. (edited)

I bought this for £157.08 in the BF warehouse event. No VESA is a pain in the butt. Otherwise great deal for the cash. I’ve got G-sync enabled with my GTX1080, though I’m not much of a gamer.
It’s not the blackest of screens but I was after more desktop area, rather than using 2 1080p monitors.

It’s a 32” monitor! It isn’t designed as a gaming monitor. Like many of the PC Master race, it isn’t all about games. I can comfortably have 4 windows snapped into the corners and all be useable. I’ve currently got a 24” 1080P and a 24” 4k monitor.
I found 4k to small at that screen size and this price was far better an option for my needs than a 4k 32”.
