Yeah this is good price for ultimate itself but the £6.99 game pass conversion works better and it does stack in existing accounts I’ve been topping mine up with it.

No it’s 3 months game pass for £6.99, then this converts to 2 months ultimate.

You get access to Game Pass on Xbox and on PC. Access to over 100 games, which you can download and play. They add/remove games most months. It also includes Xbox Gold as part of the package.

So Ultimate will cover both the xbox live gold, that you pay for now, and then game pass which would allow your son to play from over 100 games that are included in the subscription service

The xbox page is pretty good if you're after more info or a list of titles included - xbox.com/en-…TSP the games can be played for however long they remain on game pass for. So think of it like a netflix sub, but you download the games rather than stream them.

You might be able to use the 3 months for 99p first and then stack these three months on top of that too! It's great value tbh, there's always something to play and fairly new releases are added too. But don't expect the likes of call of duty or fifa to drop on it though (edited)

Yeah I’ve been buying it every few weeks to try build some up, when you out the code in it says ‘3 months game pass’ this will be changed to 2 months ultimate ‘ok’. Simple as that.

    Buy XBOX live for £35.00 x 3 = £105
then upgrade to ultimate, u pay for the first month £1, get 2 months free (and they upgrade the period u have live to ultimate) then add on the 1 months for at the end of the live period + 2 months free so u get 39 months of Xbox ultimate for a total cost of £106
u can do 2 years live so for 27 months it will cost £71 or 1 year live for 15 months for £36.

if you have a child who likes xbox live/pass.. and yourself.
nip on to their xbox and add your details, and set your account as home on his xbox, he/she can use xbox live ultimate features any account which logs on can on that xbox, meanwhile you just carry on as normal on your Xbox(only your account will have the live/ulitmate enabled though your account and not the xbox global.). I also bought 12 months (4*3 months worth) of game pass from Argos. I’ve managed to stack the argos ones and have a years worth of ultimate game pass which apparently includes Xbox live now? Does that mean the pass I bought for live isn’t needed? Any idea how long these last before they need to be redeemed? When I try to add it to my daughter account it just says it will convert to 4 months of unlimited game pass and would override current subscriptions? Thanks

You can add the live passes on and stack them, they will convert to game pass and include live but you get less, a 3 month live pass will convert to a 2 month game pass with live included, but you can add them on upto 36 months worth

    New account?

Nope old account had since xbox came out, bought the codes entered them in and they stacked no issues, just like others on this thread. Are you not referring to the cd keys offer for new customers, I think it's 99p for a month, they don't stack but the one I and others on this thread are referring to is the 6.99/7.99 offer which is for new and existing customers and does stack (edited)

Is this a new thing, didn’t they used to be 2 separate things? I’ve lost out this year. Bought the argos 3 months ultimate for £13 each then the gold for £35 for 12 months (they are offering me 4 when converted) works out 4months for £35 instead of argos ones that were £13 for 3 months 🥴 grrrr......Merry **** Christmas!
