Nike cancelled order for no reason?

Anyone had an order cancelled by Nike for no apparent reason?
Placed an order over £100 yesterday. Had a birthday discount code automatically applied. Items were full price prior to discount. Order was confirmed bit have woken up to a cancellation email with no further explanation. I suspect it's bc they don't want to sell me the items with a discount but then why offer the code. Did not say items were exempt from discount.
I can now no longer use the code as it's already been used on a purchase however as explained that purchase has been cancelled.

They can cancel, as any online shop can, any order prior to dispatch. Maybe go on live chat to get another birthday code? They are usually helpful on there

Sayin they can't give me another code I need to pay full amount upfront & …Sayin they can't give me another code I need to pay full amount upfront & they will refund the difference. Ridiculous. Said it was an issue with payment details again complete nonsense the payment would not have went through if that was the case

I can give you a 10% Nike code from unidays if that helps.

    Thanks really appreciate that.
Far cry from the 25% birthday off they pretend to give you though. But that's a marketing scam

I think you’ve just been unfortunate this year. Myself & my siblings (we’re triplets) all used our 25% off birthday codes a few days ago & our order as just arrived!

You and other have done the thinking, which (made in) country do you have in mind and which brands?

Nike keeps on cancelling my purchase. I read online they think you are trying to sell on the shoes if you make purchases close to each other using discount codes. I got revolution 7 with my code 13.5 extra wide 2 times I believe after that they cancelled all my purchases.

Yep or they would just put the trainers OOS on their website, which is a lot easier than cancelling individual orders. (edited)

Less than 30% of Nike trainers are made in China

Yeah, had this happen with Nike many times. If you place another order, they will cancel it as well. I had to wait 6 months for the ban to be lifted. Also tried making another account but they banned that account too. Customer service were useless.

This usually happens when you make multiple orders. (edited)

What do you mean multiple orders?
I have ordered in the past no issues. Why would they suddenly ban my account? They say there was an issue with billing address but I've used this address before.

I'm sorry but it seems a coincidence that this would happen when I have a discount code . It's all a ploy so they don't actually have to fulfill the order
