They're ditching their betting sponsors/partners, 2 years early.

    I hope others follow suit

Quite agree, though it looks like my team, Villa, are getting SportPesa as sponsors next season. The last shirts I bought were two sponsorless Villa team shirts and a Acorns children’s hospice sponsored shirt. Have no interest in wearing a shirt with betting/financial services sponsors and wish clubs would offer a blank option.

Losing their betting sponsor?!?! What are the odds of that??

All joking aside I wish clubs would sell kits for realistic prices, if I was an Everton fan I would get this, just a shame they retail for so much when there isn't anything special about materials or manufacturer which warrant the price.

Everton are on the way back under Ancelotti. Hopefully we can become better than the second team from Liverpool once again! (edited)

I type this out to you as im sat in a bookies, these bookmakers despite government regulation past 10 months are the absolute scum of the earth where employees are pressed to convert high street bettors to the unregulated realm of the internet.

More regulation is needed because of the unrecognised deaths linked to this. No exaggeration

Well the betting industry is geared towards the industry not the punter.

Start winning & you'll have restrictions put on you & you'll be banned.

Keep losing & they love you.

Govt could do something to regulate it but they're happy with their cut.

So yes, there will be more addicts, more health problems and ultimately more deaths/suicides. (edited)

Love Umbro kits. Nike & Adidas can't touch them....

What a bargain. Great spot my friend. To be honest I'm not a massive fan of any of our shirts this season and unfortunately we signed another deal with umbro.
Much prefer puma or Adidas kits

Are there any more clubs with deals like this? I know Boro have reduced their shirts to £24.99 but I was hoping for some other random clubs. I looked at Scottish teams but they're still full price.

Very true - esp considering the product costs for kits at the volumes they get printed in would be really low. Probably about £5 or less.

People who go to tennis matches and find slow umpires and take advantage of the delay between live action and TV coverage to win money, basically cheating.

Yes I saw that on TV the other day "Can You Beat the Bookies?", don't even have to win that much before the restriction starts.

The answer to the question was, you can beat the bookies if you put in 40 hours research a week or fly round the world "courtsiding" but the ordinary person, no you can't.

Exactly, imagine schools charging the price of pe kits matching these shorts and t shirts. Ridiculous.
