Went as high as £6.40! Tier 3 seems the best value though.

I think regardless, if you're dropping in at tier 2 at around £6 and don't have the contents of the highest tier, then that +£4 is a must do

It's a bit more arcade-like than say Assetto Corsa so you should be fine with a controller.

Bad. I've spent a lot of time with a controller playing sim-lites like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport and am pretty good at those, but Project Cars is *very* hard to control with a gamepad. I feel it's very much something I wouldn't recommend without a wheel.

On project cars 2 it is not that great with just controller. It is doable, can be configured, but I am thinking about getting some decent wheel. My thumb is just not accurate enough... Anyway, even with just controller nice game to play. Paid £10 for it. This offer is a steal!

Project Cars 1/2 and Assetto Corsa all have VR support.

Really good deal for these. (edited)

I tried it on a controller before I got my wheel and it felt like every car had a lot of understeer. You can configure the controls in the settings to make it a bit more playable with a controller but It's definitely a game played best with a wheel.

In true HUKD style, I bought the cheapest one I could, rather than the best, because I happened to find an open-box HP Windows Mixed Reality set in John Lewis for £179. Reading reviews about it, it's supposedly one of the worst ones? But it's FINE. Tracks well enough, runs on my system without doing anything weird, doesn't make me feel ill or anything.

If you're prepared to spend the money and have the modern PC to run it, then an Oculus Quest with a USB-C cable is supposedly great, if you find one in stock. But that's £399, and the other ones people call "good" are sometimes double that. So if you're in any way unsure you'd actually use it enough to justify the expenditure, the cheapest WMR set you can find is a relatively low-risk alternative.

went to buy top tier thinking i needed project cars 2 and the Assetto Corsa DLC...went on steam and realised I've already got everything. Haven't got the tier 1 games though, so money saved. sort of.

As a recent VR convert I've been thinking about upgrading my pCARS to the second one. I already own Assetto Corsa though, and Steam doesn't flag it as a VR title; I'll reinstall that, then.

Odd that DIRT 4 isn't VR when both of their Rally titles are. Oh well.

Heat from me, glad I paused the Humble Choice and got this.
Paused last months choice also and bought the VR bundle instead so pausing is paying off for me.
Ps if anyone wants the Project Cars 1 I have a spare as it's the only game I did have. (edited)

I imagine my lowly GPU can only play a few of them so findng a home for the rest is good. (edited)

The assetto Corsa dlc says included with game, does that mean you don’t get individual keys for the dlc?
