I think this is very irresponsible to be listing this and implying it can be used as toilet roll.

This is NOT toilet roll and WILL NOT break down in sewers, and can cause blockages so should not be flushed, and this should be stated in the initial post.

There has been a warning released today for this very reason :

    theguardian.com/wor…rus

Consumers have been warned of the dangers of substituting kitchen roll and wet wipes for toilet paper which – if flushed down the loo – could overwhelm the UK’s sewers.

Innocent consumer substitutions due to shortages caused by fears about the spread of coronovirus could create serious consequences which are critical to society and life, according to leading supply chain academic Prof Richard Wilding. (edited)

Just been in Tesco . Saw a bloke whose trolley was full to the brim with hand sanitizers, baby wipes, soaps, everything that people need!! I called him selfish gave him a low down about the elderly and mums etc who need these types of things. Told him he should be ashamed of himself! He said: Thats all good and well but I work here, can I carry on filling the shelves now?

Maybe the roll is too big a diameter? Try a rolling pin.

Just remember that hand towels are designed to keep their integrity and won't break down well in the sewers. You could get a Greek poo bin to go with it

And people should also be worrying about having a huge bill to clear their drains when wetwipes, kitchen towels or these blue rolls get jammed

I came here for deals and got a lecture on morality

I came here for a bumwipe alternative and instead received an education on how not to block the sewer in times of national crisis

Do you get up from the toilet with a dripping wet bottom and pull your keks up? No, you wipe it dry with toilet paper, right?

I don't get the toilet roll hording thing at all. Picture this: You're outside on a warm summers day having a picnic. You put your hand on the grass and then realise you've just put your hand in dog poo. What yah gonna do? Wipe it off with tissue and carry on? Of course not, you will find water and wash your hands. When are people gonna understand that just using toilet paper doesn't cut it. It's just not clean, you gotta use water. In the middle east they always have a small shower head next to the toilet. Water is your friend!!!
