    Overpriced for just the campaign

Why is it over priced, because it's £19.99 for an 11 year old game? If you didn't love it enough the first time around to want to spend £19.99 (£17.85) on it after it's been remastered from the ground up, then it's simply probably just not for you.

Let's take into account Activision's usual pricing and how well Call of Duty games hold their value. It's half a game at half the price. Of course it's not going to include the multiplayer, Activision are slowly but surely dripping that content into Modern Warfare, which is a fully priced game with a multiplayer option. Then there's Ground War, their free to play Battle Royale game, which is another option for MP gamers.

It is what it is, it's a campaign remaster of Modern Warfare 2, priced at £19.99. I won't be buying it, but it's a great price at £17.85 if you want to play again and/or are intrigued by the remaster. (edited)

Rip off just for campaign which you can finish quick. Would be a better deal with multiplayer 10000%. Not voting either way but definitely towards the colder side

"remastered" games typically aren't "built from the ground up", more rather just updated/upscaled textures for the most part. Something rebuilt from the ground up would be more akin to a remake.

See the 2016 Modern Warfare: Remastered (same game, new textures) vs 2019 Modern Warfare (reboot of the story and complete remake of the original game)

Cold. Was about £25 on release 11 years ago in the great supermarket price war and included multiplayer.

I'm joking btw, I haven't voted. It's too dear for me though personally.

I remember when Sainsbury's had an offer on, on the original release date where it was £25 with a £20 shop. I seem to remember I was very ill that day and was sadly unable to attend school.

I love how people were saying when there were rumours of this releasing “yeah and they will charge full price for this”.
Now people are calling it overpriced when they charge £19.99 for it, at the the end of the day you can’t please everyone.

Physics, design etc. were already laid out, so why charge half a new games price, for a game that's 11 years old with the foundations set. This price should be for the full game. The fact that the current modern warfare has multiplayer is irrelevant. I enjoyed the mw2 multiplayer, not a fan of the newer games. I'm not voting this cold, but it is too expensive for an 11 year old game with half the content as the original.

I'm pretty much certain I only paid around £25 for this one you know, at the very most £30.

Just a bit gutted they aren't bringing the multiplayer out, but if they're getting added to the new CoD I'm happy

Od of give it a go if it had multiplayer for sure some great maps.

I've no desire to play any MW2 multiplayer, so I'm quite happy they have released the campaign at a reduced price (compared to the full price of a new AAA game). I'll probably just pick it up on sale on Steam at some point though.

I know this isn't quite the same, but... if you are buying this at launch there is a fair chance you have Modern Warfare (the most recent new title), and I saw that Activision were adding the maps from MW2:Remastered into the multiplayer for that (ostensibly to prevent player base fragmentation).

So many trolls on this site now days it's unbelievable!!!!!

It was £40 on first day of launch or even £25 if you did your shopping . - telegraph.co.uk/tec…tml

Most games were 720p or less back in 2009 on consoles - Are you a snobbish PC gamer by any chance??

No COD game has launched at £60 price tag or even close to that it, sure GAME UK has a habit of jacking prices to £54.99 but that's Game for you.
I have purchased ever COD game for £42 or less the past decade.
