Don't understand why this is cold.

Just use a different email address to sign up!

Wanna keep all your playlists? Just use soundiiz.com/ to transfer between accounts.

thanks for sharing, very cool tool and much easier than other older backup methods, no intention of getting a free account but knowing I've got a backup of my 20K odd of tracks is very comforting. anyone using this, remember to revoke access when done.

Nope, I have a Revolut account, which is free to anybody who wants one.
It's an online lite bank account, which allows you to create a "disposable" virtual debit card, which you can use for online payments.

You can "burn" these disposable cards at any time in the app and generate a new one.

So every time you sign up to Spotify, it's a new card number.

The main benefit of this feature is security, you can pay for something online, burn your card and then it won't matter if the card details are stolen/hacked - because the card is dead and cannot be used again. (edited)

Amazing. Thank you. I'll have a look into it as I just used the last card I have for another month of Spotify.

Spotify doesn't like their existing customers. All those deals are for new customers or the ones who cancelled.

“Offer available to users who already tried Premium but who don’t have a problem creating a new email to sign up with”

Anyway this is a stupid offer considering you can get 6 months free for a £1.99 spend at Currys

How have people been getting the Spotify codes from currys?? I've made 4 separate purchases over the last 4 months with qualifying items with varying prices but have never received any code from them...

NP. I think if you actually buy something, the disposable card is automatically destroyed.

When you sign up for Spotify, it's just an identity check, I think you have to manually destroy it once it's processed.
