-Log in to PSN through your browser

-After the login open this link: ca.account.sony.com/api…kie

-Copy content of "npsso"

-Edit file %LocalAppData%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\psn_XXX\plugin.py

-Go to line 64 and change value stored_npsso to copied "npsso" for example:

-Was:
stored_npsso = stored_credentials.get("npsso") if stored_credentials else None

-Is:
stored_npsso = "Copied value of npsso"
-Restart GOG Galaxy
-try connecting with PSN again

That's... not how oauth style authentication works.
Taking Steam as an example, you aren't giving CDPR your Steam login. You are logging into Steam itself directly, giving them permission to share data (not your login!) with CDPR. (edited)

Some of you will undoubtedly run into integration/connector issues when setting up the connections in your Galaxy client. Don’t worry, you’re not the only one.

I’m having issues integrating into Steam but timeout issues and plugin crashes seem to be happening randomly for many other integrations as well. Here are some places to look and resources to read that should hopefully lead to a solution.

“An update to the app is needed, so please make sure you have the latest version (Windows – 2.0.16.187, macOS – 2.0.16.200). If the update is not triggered automatically after launching the application, please wait a couple of minutes and a pop up should appear. If it doesn’t, you can go to gogalaxy.com and clicking the ‘DOWNLOAD GOG GALAXY’ banner will trigger the update without downloading the installer.”

Unfortunately I already have the latest client and I’m still getting the message on the Integrations Page next to Steam: “Offline: Click Retry”.

For slightly more technical users:

FriendsOfGalaxy is the developer(s) for the Steam plugin (above) as per the manifest.json in the plugin's directory.

Note: FriendsOfGalaxy has multiple repos containing plugins but apart from Steam I'm not sure if these are the same ones that get installed for other integrations. I got this info from looking at the Steam plugin's manifest.json. You should check first if you're troubleshooting.

On macOS: “~/Library/Application\ Support/GOG.com/Galaxy/plugins/installed/”
On Windows according to this Issue #64: “C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\”
You may find it easier (iirc) to paste this path in Windows instead of the one above: “%LocalAppData%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\”

Hopefully GOG patches this without us having to do any of this or even better, when I click submit I'll be greeted with a solution posted here while I was typing this! Good luck

Update: Mon, 22 June

Finally connected to Steam and I've claimed The Witcher successfully. The integration script asks your computer for it's hostname so that it can translate that hostname to your computer's localhost address of 127.0.0.1. The script fails with 'getaddrinfo failed' if it gets back an unexpected result. There are two workarounds I've found so far with the one requiring you to edit one of the Steam integration scripts and the other editing your computer's hosts file.

Hosts file workaround: I got this to work on my macbook by adding my hostname to my hosts as per Issue #69.
(tldr; if your hostname is "geralt" add '127.0.0.1 geralt' to hosts file)

Workaround discussion in Steam Integration page: Issue #64, but more specifically this post.

As you'll see at the end of Issue #64, the author is working on a fix though I'm not sure if it will be released before the offer ends.

... dare I hope that means save game progression too?? (unlikely, I know...)

I downloaded galaxy 2.0 and it tells me my total time played the last 30 days across all platforms was 200 hours.. I regret it

Other than the obvious GOG catalogue, I've got Steam and Xbox connected. Both have 2FA on the accounts. It's not really something I've considered if I'm honest, or would really worry about. I understand the concern, though.

Wow, it does work well. I now have GOG, XBox, Origin, Epic, Uplay and Steam connected. It's so good to have a unified list of the games like this. Brilliant!

Been playing it last night after a year off (got bit bored of the hit and roll combat 130hours in!),, I probably got distracted by too many side missions and contracts. Just doing the mission where witcher and his 2 mates getting p*ssed up looking to wear Yen's clothes think (hope) I'm getting towards the end now.

I have enjoyed the game, but now its at a point where I am with shadow of war and now just want it over so I can start on outer worlds and RDR2 before they leave gamepass.

Ah nice! Got goty on ps4, would be nice for laptop to have it on the go.

Own the GOTY version physically on Xbox. Both myself and my partner could claim it free by linking our relevant accounts. Just make sure you’ve actually played the game

If you own the game on any platform, you've paid your way for the development costs.
The rest is just re-compiling so maybe a small fee

Don’t give me hope. Have only about 80 hours progress on Xbox.

GOTY on Xbox and it redeemed as GOTY on GoG!! I would be over the moon just with base game. Incredible gesture!

Even the workaround for PS4 integration isn't working for me. Tried on both Chrome and Firefox and just keeping getting an error when i try clicking the link immediately after logging into my PS account via the browser.
