Worth mentioning the reward points for the summer spotlight. Pre-orders seem to trigger the figure, so you could get the points and then cancel the pre-order.

I preordered Kingdom of amalur, then cancelled because I saw there was a deluxe version. I ordered the deluxe version then realised that wasn't in the summer spotlight (wanted the £8 reward card). Reordered the original version and it said I'd spent £40

I had already set UFC4 to download. I opened up the rewards app found the one for 6000 points. It already had the UFC4 part completed so just clicked on activate and it completed.

Hmm soon as the game started to download for me, I pressed B to go back to the punch card and got 2 green ticks and 6000 points.

Hahaha! Done it myself and got the points! Ta OP. Had to activate the card then go into EA Play/EA Access and download it via there and it worked.

There's a line in the small print which states that the punch cards don't apply to pre-orders (only to orders placed after the punch card has been activated). I personally find there are no benefits to pre-ordering these days

The trial for Madden NFL 21 should be available tomorrow. Hopefully that'll work too.

Not working for me. I went to the Rewards App (I already had EA Access) and activated the punch card. Then clicked the 'Buy UFC' tile, clicked get trial then downloaded automatically, but it hasn't popped up. I've reset console, logged in and out, and am downloading the game in full to see if that works. Also tried cancelled all the downloads and then going in via the EA Play Hub to download, but still nothing.

Not sure if they fixed?

It worked with me on Kingdom of amalur. I posted a comment a few up about it.

Worked for me. I did everything in this exact order:

Open rewards app on xbox -> activate UFC4 card (the one worth 6000 points)
Buy EA Access 1 month on cdkeys -> redeem on xbox.com (I used a trial a few years ago but it worked)
Open rewards app on xbox -> go to UFC4 card -> click on purchase -> start downloading the trial version
Go back to the rewards app and you should now have 6000 more points

The pre-order has to be released before end of August. Says in the description. I made the same mistake

Yet I looked this morning (didn't redownload it) and the card had completed and the points were in my account

Hoping the same will happen with Madden too.

The punch card is still there. If you click view all. It is there. it dissapperad on mine to.

Think of giving this a go. Go through TopCashback to the Xbox store to buy EA Play for a month, probably get Rewards points on that purchase, then get the 12k if it all works.

UFC didn’t work for me. Followed the steps but just won’t pop. Oh well, try Madden later see if I have more luck.

download the trial from in the EA Play (Access) app although mine hasnt popped the points yet but that is what most have done to get the trial (edited)

I think it is more to do with it taking a while for it to activate the game as 'purchased' I tried the UFC one yesterday early afternoon and it would not pop, tried installing it from the quest, from EA access app, even tried it on a second console, nothing. Went back to it the next day (without taking any further action) and sure enough it was there.

Tried the Madden one today and just like the UFC, for me at least, nothing happens when you start the download, or even when it's installed, so just hoping it's a case of it taking a long time to 'activate' again, guess I'll find out tomorrow if my patience has paid off... (edited)

So to my understanding this is completely random if it works or not

Some have yes, but also at least one person earlier in the thread saying that the points are revoked after you cancel. If you care about the points personally I'd take the hit for a month EA access and maybe cancel after that, by which time hopefully the tie between EA access and the points will have timed out...

Done punch card, buy EA trial for £3.99 , install game and play but still haven't got any point , why?

Any advice on achieving that? As far I as I can tell, I’m doing just about all I can to get max points bar buying games/films for punch cards.

I must be doing something wrong I thought I was doing pretty …I must be doing something wrong I thought I was doing pretty good at this points malarkey, doing the daily searches (60 + 60 + 12), always doing the daily tasks (varies but say 60 again), getting the daily achievement and the odd 10 for logging in and playing a game (60) yet even all that only comes to about 1800 points a week. Ok, so there is a bit more for weekly quests, so I'll be generous and round it to 2000 points a week. Still only half what you are consistently getting? Is there anything obvious I'm missing? I really want to get as many points as possible and hopefully, eventually, pay for the best part of a series X with them. I have to admit I hardly ever buy games on the store, which maybe doesn't help me points wise but I just cannot justify doing that as I have a pretty big backlog of games to play, own other systems with their own games (PC, PS4, Switch) and Game pass keeps adding stuff anyway, so I don't have time to play any more games so I'd be buying them just for the points which isn't worth it. It is annoying though that the most points seem to be for spending more money. That is the one thing with GP I find objectionable, you are already paying quite a bit for the subscription every month, which gives you all the games you could want, yet they want you to buy even more games for the points, many of which are free with GP anyway Read lessRead more

Daily Searches should be 90 (Desktop), 60 (Mobile and sometimes 120 if you get a promotion) and 12 for Edge.
You're probably going to get another 50 points minimum each day from the dashboard.
Achieve More, Earn More from the MS Rewards App on Xbox is another 50 each day.
Xbox app has a few 5 points ones every other day but usually has a few punchcards you can complete (e.g. the UFC Earn an Achievement and Battletoads Earn an Achievement ones from this week)
Gamepass quests add up as well. Yeah you only get 10 points from dailies but stick with that, combined with the weekly ones and by the end of the month you'll get the 1k "completionist" quest (so an extra 250 a week when you break it down). The other monthly and weekly quests you get for spending a few minutes on a game you can download for free add up too.

I've not been able to claim any of these glitched 6k points that many others have and I'm averaging 3.3k a week for this month, having done everything else I've noticed. Once I've bought something from the ultimate sale, I'll get a further 4k points which will bump that up to 4.3k average each week for this month.
