Funnily enough I bought this same machine from amazon Italy in 2016 for £110 like new and it was DOA. Had it repaired through Krups UK warranty and sold it not long ago on ebay for £120
I believe Krups stated the item had to be new and not used or a refurb and wanted to see a receipt. I sent them the original amazon invoice and I might have whited out the "like new" bit in MS paint and they were fine

I used to live off instant coffee such as Nescafé, bought a Philips coffee machine, lavazza beans and I will never ever go back.. instant coffee tastes absolutely rank now!!
I bought a Krups machine (used-good) from them last year and had it shipped to my mother-in-law in Poland - turned out to be used 680 odd times and leaked everywhere! Krups in Poland didn't even question it andf repaired it in a day........just as well Krups is better than Amazon!

I changed my Nespresso machine to a bean to coffee machine and never looked back.
Obviously the quality of the machine and most importantly the beans makes a massive difference.
If you go cheap expect it to taste cheap....

Spending this money just on a burr grinder and using a French press will get you a far better coffee.

Much love though, I also like instant coffee so I can see your side of not liking BTC it's not for everybody, next time you get a highlighted feed reccomended that you don't like, I would probably just not click on it, if you click on it and make statements that are obviously against the product it could be seen as you just making "silly comments"

With the burr grinder and french press, you could probably help some people to make educated decisions and really help them to further enjoy coffee,
I think you are a nice person, who just really likes coffee, but you are coming across a little strong (try adding milk)
Maybe you could just come off the boil,simmer down, brew up and stop stirrinig the coffee cups
