What’s the email address that’s it’s been sent from

Ok, let’s start with a couple of basic questions. Do you have an account with JD Sports and have you ordered anything before? If you go to your account history are there any orders showing there, etc? Without knowing this it’s hard to give you any real advice. What exactly is the problem that you are asking for help with? My personal email address no account is attributed to it

The emails address from the actual email like global.jdsports.com the emails address will tell you if it’s a fake

Try the order tracker on the website (don't copy and paste anything, just type it) see if anything is recognised

Have you actually ordered an item from the JD website?

The email MAY be legitimate, as that domain is registered to JD Sports - whois.com/who…com

However, it is possible they have spoofed the sender (made it look real) - you should try logging on the actual JD Sports site and see if you have an account / order.

Considering the email doesn’t say to email back, or phone some dodgy number to cancel, I can’t see a scammer getting anything out of sending the mail

You say it’s your email address but you don’t have an account attributed (Presumably JD) to it. Then you say you have reset the password. So do you have an account? Or has someone used your email to set up an account?

That’s what I also understand it to mean, I always say to my wife, even if the email address is yours, if you actually don’t have an account then ignore and if you do close the email, open a new browser session and login to the account and check. Never ever click on a link within an email, regardless.
