Xbox store Turkey

Are items bought in different region (I'm guessing following some VPN guide from one of the other deals here) going to appear on my UK account games?

I'm looking into buying Halo Infinite battle pass / credits and they are much cheaper (after conversion) on Turkish store

You can't bump threads here. They stay in chronological order on the discussions page.

In regard to your question. I know games and DLC stay on your account when you change regions, but store credit does not. I imagine in-game currency will remain in your game, as it's essentially DLC. But I can't be certain.

I live in Turkey and there aren't a lot of places to buy online. Those places that do have stuff left, it's usually double the price from a quick look I just did now.

It's not much help.... but I did just notice that on the Xbox Turkey website, they are selling gift cards online. It's the first time I've seen this. Either it's been around forever and I've just been blind to it or it's something new. I just tried it out. I purchased a 10 lira card using my Turkish credit card. It took a few seconds to do and the payment confirmation page popped up with the digital code at the bottom which I then loaded to my TR account. I imagine that the code can only be redeemed on Turkish accounts.

Difficult part for people outside of Turkey is finding a way to pay for the gift cards on the Xbox Turkey website. I tried to use my UK credit card but it's not possible. All of the virtual credit cards that you can get here need a Turkish ID to open an account.

I will do a little bit of research to see if there's a way to sign up for a virtual credit card here without the need to have a Turkish ID or foreigners ID, that you just load with credit from your UK based credit card and then convert GBP to TRY. (edited)

What about this - would this work for buying from the Xbox stores in Turkey, Argentina, Brazil etc.?

I have the same problem i am dealing with now after ri moved to Norway the weird thing that i couldn't find an explanation for it is i used to buy from turkey as much as i can and Argentina with a Moroccan card In morocco Believe it or not with Moroccan Ip and Moroccan bank card you can buy on Argentina region brazil India and turkey with no problem but once i moved to Norway I couldn't buy same cards the same account looks like My account Geo locked on Norway now since Ip address detect Norway even my Xbox account migrated to turkey and region turkey i even tried to use VPN turkey and morocco same problem. I gave my account to my friend In morocco so i can try as i used to. same issue while his account with my bank card working just fine and can buy from any region. i believe Microsoft has some restrictions on some locations Like Europe once you connect your account there it will be Geo locked there unless maybe you move and you use it on other countries that don't have their store on Xbox like Morocco for example so they don't have Geo lock i think. that's my theory now. i Talked to Microsoft they didn't gave me any solution they don't even know about this thing you know the support they just have a script they follow last thing will say you are not in turkey region while i was buying from another country and still people who are there buying normal.
