To be fair if it's taken you more than 90 days for you to realise you're not happy with it I actually feel sorry for any shop that sells you stuff and I certainly take the side of Costco who obviously never intended to 'rent' you a free tv over the christmas holidays.

If you were ill with covid then lots of isolation time to check it out

If under 6months from taking possession & there is a credible/confirmed fault then you may request either repair or replacement; but there is no obligation to refund until a repair has failed.

90 days is more then enough to decide if the TV is good enough, Costco are generous with returns but they obviously have to draw the line somewhere.

Costcos refusal to help you is fair on the strength of you’ve changed your mind after 3 months imo.

If you were away for 2 of those 3 months, not much you can really argue about.

Just get used to the TV.... (edited)

Sounds like buyer's remorse.... we've all bought things we then wish we hadn't and had to suck it up and move on.

Whats the issue with the TV? 90 days is a long time to not like something

Just resell it. Not fair on Costco to be honest.

What tv is it? You can normally find advice on avforums how to enhance performance or professional YouTube set up reviews following these can massively improve performance

The TV isn't broken, so they don't have to do anything. It's on you really. 🤷 Got to suck it up.

10 to 14 days of isolation with covid, you being on holiday for further 8 weeks that's another 56 days... What were you doing for another 20 days?
