This was the best value (around £1.50 for 10kg) litter we could find but wondering if anyone's noticed it disappearing from shelves, has it been discontinued as there's no shelf label for it anymore. Would anyone know what is the cheapest alternative?
(I also know of Morrisons Savers Cat Litter which is almost as good at £1.65 for 10kg but it's not in stock currently at our local.)

I've asked about the old one & been told it's been discontinued 'for now' because of delivery problems but it will be back at some point!! How true that is remains to be seen, but I'm not happy at all & won't be buying their 'new' litter as 1) it's a ridiculous price & 2) it doesn't clump.
It’s been discontinued , replaced by exactly same thing but in a pink bag , and shockingly is £4-99 (edited)
Went in again today and the newly packaged one was available. Double the price for the same thing! Bought some as I was desperate for litter but will definitely be on the hunt for an alternative now. Lidls just lost another loyal customer 🏽
Yeah cat food, ahhh the conversation has gone in separate directions so you thought I was thinking about cat litter lol

Cheaper from B&m for similar
We change all the time and 4 trays down at night. Two in the day. (edited)
I found that my local stopped stocking it, as I found it in another branch by chance.
Last few weeks though my local Lidl has started stocking it again
on the fisheries that allow it just a week ago I caught 173lb in 6 hours, it's a great bait for certain fish at certain times
Ikea's stuff got thinner and thinner and lighter over time.
Priced at £1.99
That's what I initially thought for a few months but then I noticed the label and shelf space disappeared too.
I've a large deep tray which takes two full bags and a bit, which gets cleaned daily. Why wouldn't you clean it daily ?
I think I'll try to call them to find out
How do you use this for fishing? Tia.
Put it on the hook, and fish the margins (close to you near the bank) and it's amazing bait for carp and barble
Wow, I’d never have thought to use it that way
I only really know one maybe two anglers, I’ll pass the information on! I think at least one would be supirised by this “bait”!
edit: why is it banned from some fisheries? (edited)
Most fisheries have their own bait bans in some way or another, it's just so they know what their fish are eating and can monitor their health, as large carp especially cost a lot of money to buy and replace, they could fish totally different styles of fishing (fly fishing etc) and using cat meat would be ridiculous tbh...
I actually took a photo of me last week fishing with it..
You can see the little red tip in the water that's how close carp and barble will come into the margins to eat it
You mentioned cat meat in this post! Are you talking about cat food and not cat liter? Tia. (edited)
I think my local haven't stocked it in a while, I'll check, but I'm sure it's like the litter in that some stores may decide to discontinue, have you tried checking further branches?
I checked and they've removed it from the Stratford store! I'll have to check other stores I come across.
What the.....
Unbelievable jump in price, getting ridiculous now
