Went to get my “free” O2 drink (which I couldn’t actually get as couldn’t get on priority, no way, shape or how?! That cleared shortly after getting back to the car, but I digress…….)
While I was in Caffè Nero, the young ladies behind the counter were telling me that, starting next week, I’ll no longer be able to get a stamp towards a coffee when getting a free O2 coffee.
Won’t get a stamp for using a reusable cup either, if using O2 for a free coffee.
Basically, if I’m using O2 to get a coffee, won’t get any stamps for it.
Anyone else been told this or am I just special

sorted byYou've been getting bonus stamps for reusable cups after the rule change? Even once when an inexperienced barista tried to do it for an o2 drink for me, there was no extra stamp so I assumed the till/app was smart enough not to accept it even if staff mistakenly tried to add it.
I guess we'll find out tomorrow. Truly the end of an era if so. The longest running deal I've taken advantage of on HUKD. I've still got a stack of loyalty cards from the early days for when my app vouchers run out. And hopefully the coffee will still be free!

Why? Nero are being paid for each drink and want to keep you coming into the store just like a regular loyal customer. (edited)
My local is still insisting there’s no stamps given for any O2 reward drinks even though they’re now monthly and not weekly?
Is anyone else hearing/being told this since the offer’s changed?
Most likely implemented their own personal viewpoint/opinion of the stamp rule and have implemented it so that their staff reiterate it.
Had no issue in London at multiple branches since the change to monthly and they still happily give the one stamp, just not the two for using a reusable cup.
And the Priority voucher seems to be OOS this week. (edited)
What stamps you can get for reuseable cups seems to vary from one Nero to the next, even within the same city when using O2, guess they're all going to be singing from the same hymm sheet now?
If we're not going to be getting "free" stamps for anything O2 related then we aren't, but won't be too bothered about carrying the reuseable cups around with us when going for a coffee.

They’ve (my local, which is a 50 mile round trip) reiterated it again today, “no stamps towards a free coffee for anything O2 related” (edited)
Yes, but as with cancelling a manual own cup stamp or only giving one stamp per transaction, it's easy for the app to not register a stamp if o2 is used to pay.
Happily, it doesn't seem to be the case, unless o2 are out of the loop on their own offer.
Will have to see if that changes.
I got the stamp as well. Nothing special about the pistachio drink, but better than the horrible espresso & tonic.
Looks like it should still give a stamp on the app?
certainly hope so, have used up all my electronic coffee vouchers getting coffees over the last two weeks while the Priority app’s been down
I challenged the Caffè Nero I normally use about the “no stamp” thing, even quoted the terms and conditions from O2 but they weren’t having any of it
It’s now looking far more like they’ve binned Nero altogether, for the next few months at least?
Don’t mind Greggs for a coffee and it’s a 1.5 mile round trip as opposed to a 50 mile journey, so that’s good
However, the Greggs range of drinks is quite limited compared to Nero’s
Seem to think that O2’s previously switched away from Nero’s for a while and then gone back, hopefully they’ll do that again this time??

Actually used my Greggs coffee this morning, was rather good and worked first time, no coffee reward stamp offered or even mentioned??
Greggs doesn't give stamps on free stuff. Tried it on the weekend breakfast roll.
