New and returning/lapsed subscribers will be eligible for a Disney+ subscription of £1.99 for the first month (instead of £7.99). Offer is now live and runs until September 19th. Decent price if just after a months trial and not picked up a cheap annual sub. Part of Disney+ day. Nice. Think I’ll just take the month for £1.99 and then cancel. Can you cancel straight away or wait till end of the month ?
    zippy99's avatar
    Found this on the FAQ's

"You’ll continue to have access to Disney+ until the end of your current payment cycle but will not be charged moving forward. More information on cancellation can be found in your Subscriber Agreement."

    help.disneyplus.com/csp…cel

So sounds the same as Amazon Prime. You "should" able able to cancel a few minutes after you signed up and get the whole month. But would be good if someone can reply to confirm this from experience. (edited)

Good on you for being generous, but shame on whoever claimed it and didn't even comment to say thanks.

Paid £13 for a full year few week back. One of the best deals I’ve come across that.
    BigPro's avatar
Yes, I am waiting for this to come back as I would not pay much more than that

Im not going to take any credit for this as im just putting out a reminder of a posting from a few weeks ago.The latest Thor movie will be added on Sept 8th as part of Disney day. There was a lot of mixed reviews about the film on that posting i would say probably leaning towards negative. But im still looking forward to seeing it,and can then make my own mind up,and its part of your subscription so that cant be bad.
    sm9690's avatar
The new Pinnochio film is coming on it tomorrow as well.

Not moving away from the main topic but anyone found Mike on Disney plus. I cannot find it anywhere or do I need to use a VPN for a different country?? Thx.
    BargainHunter13's avatar
Strange, as it's on my home page. Make sure you have no age settings on your account, as it's an 18 and it won't so if you have.
  10. Decoded's avatar
Can you get trial off a website then use a fire stick to watch it? (edited)
    arvy1's avatar
Not sure what you mean by a trial but if you mean this £1.99 deal then yes it works fine with firestick.
  11. dave.richardsonskV's avatar
Can u watch Mexico Disney plus with VPN (edited)
    HyperLuminal's avatar
No, you'd probably need to be about 70,000 feet up and use binoculars.

Edit: aww you've changed your comment to make sense. That's no fun! (edited)
  12. Assured_Brother's avatar
This is handy because we are about to get price increases in December. So if you buy annually this could save you a few bob

I seem to get mine free every 3 months with O2.
    Mr_Ekho's avatar
I'm with o2 how do you do this?
  14. marc1982's avatar
Disney gotta get those sub numbers up for d23 before they introduce the ads tiers too and then get some drop off I suppose, get all the deals you can before that happens (edited)

I believe you can also buy a subscription with Tesco Clubcard reward points.
    bitz2007's avatar
you can but treble points are coming to an end on the 14th of November so after that date it won't be any cheaper than buying direct from Disney plus.
  19. LiGhTfasT's avatar
Got 6 months free, still yet to find something worth watching. It's all CGI fighting and no storys so I give up and lose interest.
    Sleepy1968's avatar
I got this just to watch season two of 'Only Murders in the Building'. I don't think I'll be bothering to watching much (if anything) else though.

Is the stuff being released tomorrow for Disney+ day only available on the day itself? Ie it will all be gone on the 9th?
    mrTea67's avatar
Im not under the impression it's for just that day.Although since i knew it was coming to Disney ive been waiting to watch the Thor film and will be tomorrow.
  28. RebTheRebel's avatar

I'm a new customer, is this offer valid for new customers or just existing customers please?
    Jacinto_Fernandes's avatar
    Both
  32. dragonboatgirl's avatar
I've just paid for tesco 3 months deal. I've got a year to use it. If I use it now then I can sign up for a year before the price increase (depending on when the price increase is due to take place). So if I use this £1.99 deal, there's a chance I won't be able to sign up for a year before the price increase. Tricky decision
Also the o2 deal of £5.99 expires on 31st Dec 22. I'm hoping it'll be extended, but with £2 discount on the increased price.
    ashyt16turbo's avatar
Are you an O2 pay monthly customer?
  33. Mr_Anderson's avatar
    Signed up, thanks
  34. welshman10's avatar
Tesco Clubcard vouchers, £8 for 3 months is what I use for Disne
    bitz2007's avatar
Shouldn't that be £6 for 3 months ? If so trebled up Tesco points are ending on 14th of November and the subscription cost is rising to £8 a month so that deal will effectively become £24 for 3 months. (edited)
  35. good_kid_maad_city's avatar
Should be able to stack this with the AMEX deal I imagine (15% back).
  36. Kiwi's avatar
Why is Disney always reduce but not Netflix
  37. greg666's avatar
Good for lapsed subscribers but new really should get a test month for free.
  38. Paul_S77's avatar
I'm mid 3 month Disney+ subscription using Tesco Clubcard, expires November. I imagine if I also tried to get a £1.99 deal now that it would have to start right away?

(If not it would be good to add a cheap extra month to what I've already got.) (edited)
    ashyt16turbo's avatar
You're not eligible anyway as you already have a subscription.
  39. kevthewat's avatar
Maybe a possibility of £10 cashback through TCB
  40. arvy1's avatar
Went for this using a lapsed subscription on my android phone and had an option to pay using my Google play balance so technically free sub . My subscription was previously using the Turkish subscription route which has a price cheaper than £1.99 anyway but this works for me for a month.
