    I give up.

I posted this exact deal just after midnight.

Got voted on over 60 times.

Now I receive the message that my deal has been closed and merged with this one.

I don't get it as this post was only published 45 mins ago.

    I won't bother next time

hi - your deal 4003483 was submitted at 00:16, a few minutes after this earlier thread 4003481 was shared at 00:13 by @MattMac. The team will review and merge the later deal into the first one. If a thread goes into moderation, we would still allow the first thread that was posted with the required information / proof. So based on who posted first, never on who posted.

    ASDA NEVER PAY CASHBACK
    soapqueen040's avatar
I have had cashback, but if you amend your order once its originally been submitted, pay with a gift card or voucher or reject any subs, then they won't pay out. I once handed back mouldy strawberries & because of this they rejected my claim.... obviously i complained & they eventually after a year paid me my £2.12!!
  3. TristanDeCoonha's avatar
    Asda.
If in BLC then you can get 10% anyway, then pay with the discounted gift card at 4% and you have an overall discount of 13.6%
    jameswalker457's avatar
4 pcent it's always 1.6 pcent for giftcards for me where are you buying the gift card?
  4. bigry's avatar
Is this online or in store ?
    mint_fresh's avatar
    Good question 🏻
  5. eastendpark's avatar
Anyone else have trouble getting Asda to track on TCB? not for this offer, just generally. I don't have problems with any other retailer through TCB
    soapqueen040's avatar
Sainsburys & Asda never seem to track for me, all others are fine. Then i put a claim in & it gets declined months later!
  6. Yellowfin's avatar
Does it not work with if you buy gift cards? I bought £50 asda gift card and £5 bonus not showing.
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
    I doubt it.
In order to get your £5 bonus you must shop directly with one of the following brands; Morrisons Groceries, Tesco Groceries, Adsa Groceries, Iceland, Sainsburys Groceries and Waitrose & Partners.
Asda sell their gift cards through a separate website asdagiftcards.com (i.e. not Asda Groceries).
Once you click through to that website, it won't track.
  7. kooks65's avatar
tracked for me £5 plus £8.50 as a new customer at Sainsburys
    Sherbat's avatar
If you are a new online customer, they give out bigger discounts. Keep getting £18 off £60 on Nectar coupons printed at store, plan to take advantage one day...
  8. MontyGibbon's avatar
I've yet to order online from Asda and not have them delete some of my order through lack of availability. I'd be massively saddened if Asda were to delete something(s), bringing the order down to £49.99.
    Crossbow's avatar
Same here with them cancelling stuff, just gave up in the end.
Not worth risking for the sake of £5, that isn't even guaranteed it'll pay out.
Non-guaranteed £5 for £50 spend is simply NOT worth the hassle!
How are people falling for this nonsense (edited)
  9. TwoJs's avatar
We use Tesco but they don't do cashback for groceries delivery, only click and collect and new customers.... frustrating (edited)
    MrShark's avatar
    I find that frustrating too.
  10. hello2upeople's avatar
why is this even hot ? like really for £5 on 50 ?
    Newbold's avatar
I'm spending this every week with Tesco. Why not get a free fiver for no effort? Nothing lost.
  11. deleted484533's avatar
Wasting your time with this, I've never had a supermarket shop pay out. As soon as you adjust the order closer to delivery it screws it up.

Other problem is I book slots a month in advance, so it's not a new order. The whole cashback world is designed for them to get the cashback and not pass it on where ever possible. (edited)
    Neostar's avatar
Also if they substitute an item then expect no cashback
  12. tinkerbellian's avatar
Asda has never tracked for me , and again today nothing showing from this mornings order , I know I can put in a claim in 7 days , but it’s a bit of a pain .
    modernmum33's avatar
Asda Groceries tracks for me every week? You probably know you must spend £48 minimum & not use any giftcards? It soon adds up .
  13. Melbury's avatar
I had already started putting together an online order with one of the supermarkets before seeing this, so I linked via Topcashback to add some more things to my order and will undoubtedly have to add even more things as the week goes on.

So do I always need to go through Topcashback when I do this, or will it remember that I have gone through once?

    Thanks.
    blahblahblah1234's avatar
It definitely won't remember that you already clicked through from TCB a few days ago.
When you're ready to submit your order, you'll need to click through from TopCashback and proceed through to checkout and payment screens in a single online transaction.
Then keep your fingers crossed until it tracks into your TCB account.
  14. Goomba...'s avatar
Terms say spend £30 and also say £50. Which one?
    kooks65's avatar
    T&Cs say £50
  15. Cycling_chum's avatar
For morrisons you need to be a new customer
  16. Legging123's avatar
Morning all, does anyone know if my gift cards qualifies? Thank you !
    Legging123's avatar
Sorry mean the purchase of £50 of gift cards, thank you
  17. fgy's avatar
Does the delivery have to occur ""between 03/10/2022 00:00:01 and 07/10/2022 23:59:00."" , or just making the order (for a delivery at a later date)?

And if you then amend the order, do you still get the £5 cashback

These are obvious questions and you have to wonder why they're not in the terms
    Newbold's avatar
As you say, they’re obvious questions because they impact on the vast majority of orders. They’re also obvious ways of avoiding a payout, unfortunately.

Can i buy a top up for the asda cristmass savings card ?

    spend 50, get 50 credit ( + bonus from cristmass card ) and 5 back ? (edited)
    TopCashbackRep's avatar
    Hey

We do see that this grocery retailer does have cashback offers on home delivery purchases which may not include the kind of purchase you wish to make

    Best wishes

Be very careful with Gift Cards, they can be quite tricky.

On top of all the other 'hoops' to negotiate, they also have an Expiry Date!!!

OH Yes, you pay CASH MONEY into their bank account and they are kind enough to keep it for 2 years earning interest for them only to say 'You can't have it back or spend it because your gift card EXPIRED'

  21. Strixx's avatar
Does anyone know if these six supermarkets do free delivery with a minimum shop?
    Alexanderlocks's avatar
Not that I know of. Sainsbury's cheapest slot is £1 saver slot and tescos cheapest is £3 I much prefer tesco these days. Can't be dealing with Sainsbury's customer service when things go wrong.
  22. TheBoss96's avatar
Fair play to Topcashback. The £5 has magically appeared in my account and is payable. Thankyou. Much better than Quidco!!
  23. wahidul89's avatar
ffs I spent £143 on my weekly grocery shop yesterday!!
    andiron87's avatar
I feel your pain, I spent £147 10 years ago, should have waited.

No good for me. Never use supermarket delivery services. Always blocking my road when I am trying to get in or out. The drivers think they are part of the emergency services. Park where they like too and awful road manners.
Would happily buy £50 of gift vouchers though to qualify.
    FriesWithThat's avatar
They were next best thing to an emergency service during lockdown. A vital service for the vulnerable who could not get out for whatever reason. The drivers worked extended hours, dealt with increased loads and distances. Some folk have short memories.

I have to spend £50 to get a measly £5 what the hell is this

I'm not sure about you but if I went to do my weekly shop as normal this week and as I was leaving they gave me £5 in cash for free I'd be pretty pleased.
  26. scrounger's avatar
Gonna allow this. Prefer the spend £5, get £2 offer. Thanks anyway.
  27. azl's avatar
Rather shop in store so you can pick own fruit and veg. Also get a good date on the BBE or Use by on other stuff...
  28. thewolf8u's avatar
Topcashback, Groupon, Wowcher & alike are more trouble than they are worth. There are easier ways to save £5 than wasting time reading terms & conditions which are longer than a Russian peace treaty and when when you follow their instructions to the letter it only works 20% of the time. (edited)
    Alexanderlocks's avatar
Actually I just read through the t&cs for this offer very quickly. It's not page's long..
  29. carolynb's avatar
    Online or instore?
    kooks65's avatar
online, you can do click and collect at some stores
  30. fgy's avatar
Can anyone alert the topcashback rep to answer these queries?

    £50 for me
  34. howbord's avatar
Didnt even know Sainsburys was on TCB. Bit of a shame as i get my shopping there every week.
    stephenlamb's avatar
I think it is just for this offer.
  35. LesD's avatar
Another obvious question with no apparent answer.....

I have a pending order due Thursday. Do I have to make any amendments through TCB?
    TopCashbackRep's avatar
    Hey LesD

We advise that the purchase would be for a new order after clicking through our cashback offer links with eligible retailers for the bonus

    Best wishes
    Phil
  36. normjaz's avatar
Worth a try as shop at sainsbury's weekly anyway... didnt realise they were on Topcashback.
  37. N0bodyOfTheGoat's avatar
No apparent Tesco grocery delivery option for this bonus.

Still waiting on a claim from last month when cashback was being given for new and existing customers for delivery.
  38. gizz_mo's avatar
Oh no - I entered an ASDA shop yesterday for delivery on weds. Presume if i activate the offer now it will be after the shop and hence not valid? So if I cancel the shop I entered on Sun - and then do a new shop now that I have activated this offer then I should qualify?
    deleted484533's avatar
Don't waste your time for £5.
