On offer IN STORE and ONLINE at Asda
Was £2.30, now £2.00

This is also a Star Product for the next 7 days so that takes another 10% off the price.

The current going rate of own brand supermarket butter is £2 for 250g so "branded" Anchor at £1.80 isn't too bad!

Be sure to scan your App at checkout to add the 10% to your cashpot.

Why not buy 500g for £3.50 or better 750g for £5.25 both work out cheaper

Oh you're talking about spread. This post is about block butter, which is very different, also crucial for some recipes/baking. I'm a baker so always looking for decent priced butter

Thank you, I didn't even know about star products. Anyone knows if Blue Light Card users also get these star products promotions?

My blue light card does not work with my Asda Rewards. I have to phone Asda every week after a shop to get my £ points added.

    Good price OP

Usual price in M&S of own label butter is £1.75, cheapest anywhere apparently.

I'm old enough to remember when you could buy butter for a quid or less. Must have been about a year and a half ago.

Sadly Anchor is £2.30 in our local Asda, stuck to buying their own brand at £2. Voted hot though.
