RAC suggested I left my wife alone as I needed medication at 3am in the middle of nowhere. Then suggested I left the car alone as nobody was coming for hours and then said they would not be responsible for damage / theft (understandable, but they suggested it…)? Was with RAC for 20+ years, they took 15 hours to get to me. Never again. Cold.

Can't say AA are much better. Had to wait 8 hours, with a 10 week old baby, in the middle of December before they recovered us.

Neither the AA or RAC are any better than any of the far cheaper alternatives out there. Last time an AA recovery van turned up for home recovery, him and the van stunk of cannabis. They will never get my money again.

Which do you suggest we had rescuemycar and they subcontract to local garage when our van broke down in heatwave they took out van and my hubby and toddler and secured the car seat in their tow truck so we wouldn't wait for a taxi and then stuck it out in horrible traffic with us making our son laugh after he had a tantrum

do not waste your money, absolutely terrible service, left me stranded for 13 hrs, arranged my own recovery service, customer service a waste of time, would not reimburse me, there are a lot better services for cheaper money

Here this one (hotukdeals.com/dea…814) is a FAR BETTER deal than paying to RAC.....just because AA is offering Parts + Labour + all extra add on...for just £67 including personal cover for 2 people !!
